  • Just plug it into grandma's car and drive your own car like you always do. It can't tell what car it is plugged into.

  • You will get 30% off ...provided you do very little daily driving (less than 20mi avg), watch your braking, and stay off the roads between 12 and 4 AM...Great for someone retired or disabled, but not so for someone whom commutes a distance to work daily...

  • Newer vehicles in 2000 up have things like this already in your car so why people are freaking out about it is beyond me, my 03 Mustang did this, kept all the data.

  • This product is messed up companies should not be able to do this.

  • It's a great idea, very solid, HOWEVER, what about the times where you have to break the rules for whatever reason? It's too much of a liability. It would make me uncomfortable.

  • i'll show you how to install it- turn around

  • @swimmerB0B He didn't say that.

  • this is so creepy. I don't care how much it saves me.

  • This wouldn't work for me in my city

    St. Petersburg, Florida

    clueless old people, teenage idiots

sometimes you HAVE TO BRAKE HARD TO KEEP FROM CRASHING.

so here, my discounts would be reliant on OTHER PEOPLE'S DRIVING!

nice try. maybe it works in Nebraska, but not here.

  • im tempted just to get progressive for 1 month and get the snap and go hay wire for fun. I picture this would be my results on my statement at the end of the month

    Average Speed: 137 mph

    Average RPM range: 6k-8k RPM

Average Brake force: N/A due to brake G force unrecognizable by computer

Average Driving distance per day: 300 miles

Average Time of travel: 1:00 am

    Calculated Savings: - $10,000

We recommend you switch to the General.

  • @DSM4LIFE20g LOL!!! I know a kid who used this drives a ford mustang v6 with mods his insurance went to 400 a month !!!!

  • @DSM4LIFE20g Nice! lol

  • Comment removed

  • @04crossfire think you where trying to say = instead of - but ok i get it lol.crossefire fits you well keep your head down lol.

  • being health is being honest, this thing is stupid stop trying to force it on people

  • How is there privacy invaded It just tracks when u drive and how far not like its tracking u by gps and showing everyone where u are seriously

  • @HARDCORECLAN58 you really think that lol.

  • @ernk72 yes i do

  • @HARDCORECLAN58 anything thats transmitted can be intercepted but hey you can use it ill pass.

  • no way would I allow that to be put into any car or truck, I do not need anyone looking over my shoulder.

  • why does that suck? you don't want that fucking thing in your car. if they want you to have that thing- it's time to find another insurer.

  • that was so gay.really????

  • Now people WANT their privacy invaded. Jeez

  • haha I so want to put this thing in my track car and break hard from 140mph into the first turn and see what they say

  • people should read the book 1984... this is what this thing is about.. how much do these companies need to know about your driving.. they dont unless you make a claim, they dont need to know how far you drive, or how much you drive, what else eventually will they want to know.. people have to wake up to this bull shit!

  • @vintagetoyman wake up? it's an option, if you don't want it don't enroll for it, simple. stop being so paranoid it's not healthy

  • That sucks this is only good if your car is OBD2 I guess that counts me out.

  • So does this track your average speed??? And will you get charged more if you're speeding ??

  • @joscastro1984 I would be charged a looot

  • Nice eclipse ;)

  • nice

  • If you "accidentally" hit a padestrian while driving to work you are now, not only, liable but if a district attorney wants he/she can prove you're degree of negligence via Snapshot resulting in criminal charges. So the 30% you save will not be a wild idea saying it be better off in a "defense attorney fund", what would be wild is saying this could not happen.

  • Isn't this invading my privacy ?

  • Only a jerkoff would use this.

  • He is a tool of the establishment, or as Stalin said "a useful idiot "

  • NO THANKS!!!!!! ... nice try though

  • HOW THE HELL IS THIS VIDEO SO BAD TO HAVE 1 DISLIKE!!?!?!?!

    It should have none!!

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THIS VIDEO!!

  • @HerrCompadre Dislikes are bc its invasive - willingly submitting info which determines whether or not I brake hard so that an insurance company can use that information to potentially charge me even more is absurd. The real reason theirs a discount is because you are giving them even more information on which to categorize you, ultimately it will likely cost the average person more on their policy and theyve done it willingly for a short term discount they lose in the long term.

  • @uwmbigb oh

  • @HerrCompadre Ya =]

  • @uwmbigb Actually this can only decrease your premium, never increase. And once you've had it on for 6 months, you send it back and keep the same discount for as long as you have the policy. You can become the worst driver in the world after it's sent back but your Snapshot discount will remain the same after the 6 month period.

  • @adamsagencyins Really, what if the information it gains determines you're a "wreckless driver" because you accelerate from stop faster than the average driver - Im sure that'll decrease my premium. Nice try though...

  • @adamsagencyins 6 months? It is supposed to be 30 consecutive days. Mine has stopped working after about a week and may have caused damage to my car. Also I pay more attention to trying not to make this thing record anything negative that it is taking my attention off the road ahead. I have had progressive for about a month and I am thinking about switching back to Allstate. I am starting to think the discount will not be worth the hassle of messing with this Snapshot. I don't like this!

  • @adamsagencyins Right because insurance companies have been known to honor everything they advertise on tv and YouTube, Wake up tomorrow cause you are clearly sleeping.
