I am sorry for not writing back for such a long time... didn't know how to do it :-/
well, midi is taken from max/msp and it controlls the opacity levels of the modul8 clips... I had to chop the film into several parts and then arrange them in modul8. every part is connected to a note in MAX/MSP... well one day I'll be able to do it with jitter... one day...

hi, the video is done with modul8. But I'll learn jitter to reproduce the effect. Modul8 is a mac only programm. Very good!
