  • thanks for posting it and thanks to whoever for recording.

  • she is beautiful and so is the song its best done by the chicks and i love them but i love her for standing up for them thats amazing...such a tragic tune

  • Exceptional.

    DDR

  • Lovely voice, but I miss the awesome string section towards the end and the huge build up that always gives me goose bumps. Good luck with your solo album Jessica.

  • that was really beautiful, but so is every version of this song. Don't hate on the Dixie Chicks. <3

  • That was only at the grizzly rose they did that. She has been playing this song quite often as solo. Fred Eltringham the drummer for the chicks has been playing with them for awhile. There is a picture in his website Michelle took of him standing next to that sign about no chicks songs. Jess does a great singing of bus to st cloud, drinking problem, and a awesome angel from montgomery.

  • I heard that the reason she sung this song was because at the place they were playing there was a sign up saying "No Dixie Chicks music is to be played in this building"..she sang it out if protest if nothing else..i presume she realised it was actually a Patty Griffin song but hey u gotta love her for standing up for the Chicks..(legends!)

  • Haha! Go Jessica!!! Love Jess, and the Chicks! And yes, Patty Griffin too!

  • hahahaha! Very cool!!! :0)

  • Love Patty Griffin!

  • yay for patty lovers

  • Great job Jess and this is coming from a huge Dixie Chicks fan!

  • I love this song!

  • ok haha i realise the mistake so i have updated the file info. also, this video was not recorded by me but i had it for quite a while in my comp and decided to share it here. so thanks loads to the person who actually recorded it!

  • this song is ORIGINALLY done by Patty Griffin, not the Dixie Chicks.

  • WOW! This might just be the best version of the song, period! It wasn't as depressing as Patty Griffin's original version (as much as I love her and the song), and it was a TRILLION times better than the Dixie Chicks' cover.

Jessica really hit the climax at the end of the song dead-on (which Natalie Maines fails to do). Plus, the woman is SMOKING hot. I've never heard of 'The Wreckers' before, but I'll definitely be looking into them after this. Very impressive!

  • Well, I love the song too, but Patty sung it on Austin City Limits years ago...when did the Dixie Chicks cover it?

  • i think she did a wonderful job on this and it isnt as scary as when natalie sings it. this girl is phenomenal

  • OMG!!!! I love this song, especially the Dixie Chicks version. It's one of my favorite songs so I FREAKED OUT when I found out Jess covered it!!! :D lol Beautifully done
