Do you know if this map is gonna work fine or do i need a tune? The guy from perrin wants me to sell injen cai and buy one of theirs. your opinion is greatly appreciated thanks!
@nothingbuthonesty They will give you the correct map for their CAI for free and everything works well together. I have everything Perrin (CAI, TMIC, ELH, UpPipe, DP, ACCESSPORT) and it works well without any problems on my 09. You have to tune it for the Intake because the MAF is uber sensitive.

coming to his defense, he did a super soft launch, he revved all the way threw first gear, he has a gt so im sure the tq the stock turbo made down low isnt there anymore. so honestly its a roll - 60. and u can look it up, most cars that do 0-60 in 4 sec, do their 5-60 a whole second longer. im positive that if he launched this car he'd be at most 4 sec....
@SpdDemon69 i 100% agree with what you're saying, but come on man, 378 awhp?? for that amount of amazing hp, this is slow as shit... if it truly had that amount of hp it should speed up wayyy faster than it does once it hits the higher rpms and maximum boost from the turbo. 378 awhp should be like a 3.2 to 3.5s 0-60 Maximum. i have a stock 2011 WRX and this car revs no faster than mine, so i dont believe it all. like if you're going to spend THAT much money to get that insane whp, id expect more
@JMAHER1523 gear ratios also have something to do with it. i think with the wrxs and stis once you get to that amount of hp, its a dramatic increase once you get higher in speed. the speedo could also be off. you have to sit in the car to feel it. but i do agree with u aswell
@SpdDemon69 it was my understanding that it was the otherway around, considering the gear ratios in those cars, they arent build for high top speeds, only 140-155 mph, with that kind of power at the wheels it should be dramatic increases in the lower range, although the greatest overall diff will be in the higher gears like you said. and yeah true, cant really tell if youre not actually in the car, but from here, im thinking someones telling fibs bout their dyno session haha
can anyone else shed some light on the ups and downs and cautions of running a bigger turbo setup, like this one, and putting down some healthy numbers?

Ive talked to subaru tuners and they all said that 400hp at the crank is fine on stock intenals of a 2009+ wrx. Since this is 376whp he might be pushing 400 at the crank so its not quite as safe as say 350whp which would be close to the same amount of fun and not be damaging.
im excited to trade in my 04 sti for a sedan wrx when i get back from active duty woot... not shifting before 60 is gonna take some time off the 60 ft
TPMS light is on, might want to add a few lbs.
