I must say I'm getting a little tired of the whining about Christian. Yes, he was great with this band. Yes, they had irreconcilable differences. Now SS has done the best they can to replace him. I'm still happy with the "new" line-up and am looking forward to seeing them in December.

Miseration is the new band he is in, or atleast one of them. He is no longer the singer because, quote Uncquote, They didnt see the same musical genre or area together so they decided to let him go, look it up on there myspace it give more detail on it, but thats the basics.

As I see, Roberth and Lars succeed very well at producting the vocal quality that Christian Alvestam started. The growls are perfect, the clean vocals will need a little more practicing, but I don't doubt that it'll be fantastic!
And it was nice to see the band members in a little intimate way, too =P
Solution 45 is very similar about genre to Scar Symmetry. Their promo is so good. I can't wait for a new album from Solution 45 and a song that is recorded with these 2 guys from Scar Symmetry. Also hope to see SS on tour and visit Turkey :)

Yeah so he wrote the shit youre saying, dont you feel played. Actually the percentages of clean and harsh vocals he wrote can obviously be immulated based on how heavy or soft the backing music is. It's the guitarists who are responsible for the technicality and cohesiveness of their music, in the studio diaries you can see them writing the keyboard and synth parts for the songs as well. Christian started a vocal legacy in SS, but it will be continued and completed with their new vocalists.
They really should publish a demosong of some sort with the new singers, I still have no total opinion about them, sure the growls sound ok but I fear that Lars's voice is too powermetal-like, Christian's clean vocals are something powermetal-ish but still so unique. All powermetal vocals arent that impressive :(

So they couldn't tour as much as the other members of the bands wanted, and couldn't perform all their songs live. Christian is a sining god, but he was holding SS back from performing live, and I hate him alittle for that....And that's why he left the band or they kicked him out
Chris will be missed but live it lacked BAD. But now they have 2 (fucking awesome) singers it will really be an awesome thing live! :) cant wait to see them again!

meh, it doesnt sound that great live in this, i hope they sound better in the studio, i prefered the old singer to these 2 but hopefully they won't disapoint

In Swedish the verbs don't get declined, they have a single form for all persons (like "är" for example) everywhere, so most Swedish guys make the mistake of saying things like "does the rules of manifestation apply", or as Jonas said here "they kicks ass". It's very evident in Ohlsson's lyrics. I love this band anyway :)

No you are misinterpreting what he said and not checking facts like an ignorant fool. He stated, Since I'm responsible for introducing the multi-vocal style in SCAR SYMMETRY, as well as writing like 75% of all the vocal-melodies and 90% of all the growled parts, you will most likely recognize the style and hooks in SOLUTION.45. Growled parts and vocal melodies are not lyrics and music.

Yeah so he wrote the shit youre saying, dont you feel played. Actually the percentages of clean and harsh vocals he wrote can obviously be immulated based on how heavy or soft the backing music is. It's the guitarists who are responsible for the technicality and cohesiveness of their music, in the studio diaries you can see them writing the keyboard and synth parts for the songs as well. Christian started a vocal legacy in SS, but it will be continued and completed with their new vocalists.

They really should publish a demosong of some sort with the new singers, I still have no total opinion about them, sure the growls sound ok but I fear that Lars's voice is too powermetal-like, Christian's clean vocals are something powermetal-ish but still so unique. All powermetal vocals arent that impressive :(

I wasn't saying THEY suck, I was saying that it fuckin sucks that Christian left the band. I've been following Christian Alvestam's career since before Scar Symmetry, and him leaving simply means that I move on as well.

Christians sining style of mixing growl with clean vocals was really hard to performe live. So they couldn't tour as much as the other members of the bands wanted, and couldn't perform all their songs live. Christian is a sining god, but he was holding SS back from performing live, and I hate him alittle for that....And that's why he left the band or they kicked him out

He wasn't "bad" He was actually pretty decent for having to constantly switch between growls and cleans, but yeah, it'll sound a lot less strained now
