New Balance 805

The New Balance Minimus, coming March 2011, is the the new higher tech equivalent to this amazing training AND racing shoe. My 805's have suffered through over a thousand miles, but still won't give out! Too bad the minimus is only being made to size 14. I wear size 14.5 and I don't think the 14 will be big enough for my foot.

Does anybody know if New Balance is making or is planning to make a successor to this shoe? My pair are pretty worn out and New balance doesn't seem to make a new version which is anywhere near as good.

I'm kick'n it in my 805's right now and loving it! They were way more comfortable than the Nike and Asics I had on my feet at BIG 5. Picked 'em up for 40 bones. Diggity.

I found this to be a near-perfect triathlon shoe, from sprint distances to Ironman, the sturdy yet lightweight design and multi-surface sole capability are excellent for the triathlete who trains and races on a wide variety of running surfaces, often in the same training session or race. The mesh offers exceptional drainage, and the 805 can easily accept quick-lace systems for lightning fast transitions. New Balance created an great triathlon shoe in the 805!
