  • john,

it looks like you have your action set quite low. Is there a huge difference soundwise to a higher action ? great videos !

  • The lower the action the heavier the gauge of strings to make up for the loss in vibration and tone. Good question. I use flatwound .013s with a .056 in the bass for jazz...Thanks for your interest....John

  • if you want to learn , subscribe to this guy.Its by far the best teaching i have found on the internet. Has a book coming out soon also.

  • Many thanks for this comment. I'm only sharing and explaining what I've used in the many bands and sessions I've played in. If people say they like the music then the system or approach has worked for me. Some players and listeners may not like my style but they can take the information and modify it to their liking. I've had loads of fun jamming on the guitar. Hopefully you can too. Thanks again!!

  • It keeps getting reposted.

  • No prob, im goin away for a couple of weeks, soon as i get back its catching up time.I have enjoyed all your vids and reviews are great. Got me playin a bit of blues. 10/10

  • Another way to look at the natural minor scale is just a harmonic minor without the #7
