I listened to this song when I learned of the fans that were killed by an suicide bomber in Iraq, Those fans did nothing wrong they were killed over nothing, all they did was support the Iraqi national team as they had to progressed to the final of the Asian Cup in 2007, they were the eventual winners....they won for Iraq...they won for those affected by the war.....they won for those fans....
The creepy sex scene on which this music is played, is simply brilliant, a very toughing scene, Spielberg is a genius & John Williams deserved an oscar for this score, But fuck the critics...
@lancerwagon More like no more 9/11s, no more suicide bombs, no more infiltration an degradation of Europe, no more beheading, no more terrorism.... Something a little more relevant to today...
The was probably the best representation(the movie "Munich") of the Israeli/Palestinian conflict. And it also hinted at 9/11 indirectly in the final scene.
Remember! every massacre caused to the Jews! and not only Jews themselves! but every other people who suffered the same! nothing will go forgiven for those who done the sins theyve done
Very haunting song. Makes one think of what the Israeli hostages went through, being murdered in helicopters while tied to each other. They did not deserve such a fate.
This photo belongs to a political organization of Turkey.Let us please be careful when using a grey wolf in front of a moon and what do you mean by saying fascist organization? Do you really know what a fascist is? In fact where are you from? You should be careful when making a comment about a photo which consist of not just a wolf and moon but a lot of human blood behind it.
Well, Turkish nationalist organizations all preach Turkish superiority and that land and blood are more important then anything else.
These organization attack dissent such as Armenian activists, and kurdish activists for more equality and freedom for their culture. They also have assassinated many people who feel the Turkish pride should be less about defending it's honor through violence, then through example and frienship.
John Williams is my favorite film composer. Getting goose bumps everytime i hear this piece cos i remember the scene of the movie in which this piece was played. That's the great things about Williams: his music is alive even without the images.
The best songer...

Greetings from MX...
The Munich tragedy was a result of fails:
1.- Munich 1972 organizers to give a clean image after Berlin 1936 decided to relax the security.
2.- The Munich police chief don´t be prepared to handle a kidnapping situation (In 1971 a kidnapped woman was terrible shot for error).
Here in YouTube there´s a documental in vary parts talks about this: One Day in September

i like it but i don't like soundtracks with "foreign, cracking women's voices". it annoys me, and reminds me of Iraq.

Very beautiful song but totally a pathetic movie.
Spielberg failed as usual, although he has a budget that others only can dream of.
It is as usual to obvious this movie is nothing but propaganda.

1000 years of human and misery suffering in this song... tears in my eyes.
Please no more hate, no more Berlin Wall no more Palestinian wall no more Rwandese massacre, no more Kivu slaughters! We should know better...

John Williams tied Alfred Newman's record with the most individual Oscar nominations at 45 with his score on Munich.
Lisbeth Scott's voice brought the climactic scene to life. She even made up those words herself.
