If I ever get my own radio station music like this will be the only music played, none and I mean none of the junk they play on the radio today will be played. This song is absoultly beautiful and if you don't think so then you might want to have your hearing checked, because their voices are increadiable!
@BlaqueReign25 i want to be a radio dj and this is the only type of music i want to play on my show but of course in my area i have yet to find a radio station that will allow me to only play this type of music cause they want me to play the same bs they play all day long! pure bs if u ask me!
@shaymc05 I agree with you, the songs that most of these radio stations play is pure bs and it is shameful that they have nerve enough to call it music. The radio station where I live they play the same songs all day long they play lil wayne first then they move on to Lady Gaga, then they play drake, then they play nicki minaj, then its Katy Perry, then eminem, then rick ross. We had a station that played artist like Kindred where I live, but they got bought out. You may have to start your own.
@BlaqueReign25 yea the radio stations around here play that same line up allllllll day long. around 10pm they will play some music like this but i have never heard them play any kindred or ledisi or artist like them. we had a station that played all of that but they got bought out too n was replaced with the new bs! i kinda figure if i want it my way i will have to start my own station. good thing im only 23 lol so i have plenty of time to get that started.
@shaymc05 They do that where I live too, they call it Sunday night slow jams, but really its not cause they do it all week. But even that DJ R Dub has to sprinkle in some Nicki Minaj or Drake, its sad really. I would love to have a station that played nothing but Kindred, Ledsi, Donnie, Conya Doss, India Arie, Hil St. Soul, Amel Larruix, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, Goapele, Raheem Devaughn, & Rashann Patterson. It is good that you are still young, you have plenty of time to get things going.
@shaymc05 Have you heard of a new singer by the name of Aloe Blacc? He has a couple of songs out now, one is called you make me smile and the other is called I need a dollar. He sounds pretty good, I heard about him on Centric.

@shaymc05 LOL, that is funny, it was the same with me, I was watching the soul train awards and then the story about him came on during the commercial break and as soon as he started singing I need a dollar I was like who is that, he's got a great voice, so I you tubed him and I've been a fan ever since. @BlaqueReign25 lol i saw the commerical like a couple days before the soul train awards. i was just watchin centric hits and it went to commercial and they showed him and i was thinkin the same thing. lol but i love all of those artist u just name plus more also, its so many great old and new artist who need to be played everyday and all day! well if u get ur radio station, ill dj for u! lol and ill do it for free just so they get recognized by more people cause they are amazin!
@shaymc05 You are right about that, I think if that were to happen I think more people would be happy and less on the edge because this music to me at least makes me calm and just makes me want to relax. Hopefully I will get it one day and I will def give you a shout because it sounds like you would be a great DJ, sounds like you would be a great Dj for parties too or weddings because you have great musical taste.

@shaymc05 That would be cool, lol. Call it being too optamistic but I think there would be less killings and shootings going on in the world if there was more music like this. I know that people will still and always be people and you can't change the things that some people do, say or the way some people think, but this kind of music would at least point them in the right direction as opposed to all the other music that just keeps our commiunites down and gives us all a bad name.

I did something the other day that I really didn't want to do, I asked my youngest neice what she wanted for christmas and she told me she wanted Nicki Minaj's new cd, I asked her was she sure and told her to think about it really hard. @shaymc05 Great, I spent it with all the people I love, I had great food, in fact too much great food, but I worked it all off later playing the Michael Jackson Video game, that thing gives you a real workout. I watched the Lakers get beat on Saturday and overall had a wonderful Christmas. My neice was so happy when she saw that Nicki Minaj CD and then she saw the Trey Songz Cd I bought her she darn near cried, I darn near cried to, because I couldn't believe I hadn't taken those things back...

@BlaqueReign25 i've been good! when i get in the car i mainly play cd's of mine or play my ipod which has all the stuff i like on it. lol the only time i listen to the radio is at night when they play the stuff i want to hear or when im in the car with someone else n their playin it so i cant turn it or anythin lol. yea it does seem like theypaid the radio stations off just to play there stuff. the radio station here throws in a gucci mane song or a soulja boy song in the mix of young money lol.

Unfortunatley I have not opened the radio station yet, lol, but I am researching radio stations and it is defintiley something I want to start working on when I finish with my degree. @shaymc05 I am actually going to school for business, which is another thing I would like to do own my own business, I am in my third year now, so I am getting closed to being done. I can't wait for summer though, I need a break from school, it can get pretty stressful, listening to kindred does help me alot though as it is very relaxing music. @shaymc05 I think its ridiculous as well, believe it or not her video is actually on 106 and park, which is hard to believe but at the same time its amazing. They don't put the video on everyday like they should, but the fact they put it on is great, they should play more videos like it. It's like BET shows gilmmers of hope for a second and then they stop. Playing it would make the countdown a lot better, because I can't believe some of the things they play on there.
@BlaqueReign25 yea i actually saw it on there on tuesday when her cd came cause she was on there n it was at number 5 on the count down. i cant actually believe half the stuff they play either but high school kids like the stuff n they are the main people who watch it so i guess they have to make it appealin to them or the ratings would definately go down probably. then BET has centric but they only show videos early in the mornin n durin the rest of the day most of the time they are showin crap
@shaymc05 That is true, they are really the friving force behind music these days and I find it so sad that they are willing to except the crap that is coming out these days, instead of the good things that are coming out these days. I watch Centric for the videos in the morning and for the old Soul Train re-runs that is about it i would love to see some fresh new exciting programming on Centric I get tired of the same old shows day in and day out, maybe that should be my next step a t.v station

@shaymc05 That is true, I agree with you while I love those shows, I don't want to see them all of time, honestly I think all of the BET\Centric programming has gone down since Bob Johnson sold out to Viacom, now there is nothing on there to stimulate the minds of our youth or anyone. I am glad they brought back Ed Gordon, but they don't really promote his show like they should, so hardly anyone knows when it comes on. The movie repeats that they show, get on my nerves as well.

@shaymc05 The my garden album is a very nice album, my dad had the record in his old collection of albums, but it disappeared many years ago and no one knows what happend to it. Yep he was a rapper first and his song I need a dollar in fact came from the fact that he really needed a dollar as he had just been laid off from his job. @shaymc05 Tony Terry's With you. But it may be awhile before I have to make decisions like that. Her voice is good, its got a lot of soul in it. Actually I have always been very fond of some of the overseas artist as they put so much heart and passion into their work and some of them choose not to follow what's popular and just do their own thing, I like that.

@shaymc05 I hate club videos as well, they just all look the same, it seems like they were more creative with videos back in the day, you would think with all this new technology that the videos would be out of this world creative, but its just hasn't been the case with some videos. I look at Michael and he didn't have even half of the technology that these artist have and yet he was able to make great videos. I heard about Jazmine, such a shame if she really means it. @shaymc05 Because she just wasn't getting the support that a lot of these other artist were like the Beyonce's and the Rhianna's. Which I think is a shame because she is a good artist. Sadly I think if she were out there on stage or in her videos dressed half naked and shaking her bum everywhere people would love it and her record company would be all over it, but she chooses not to do that and I say good for her. @shaymc05 That is true, the only time BET shows videos is during 106 and Park and MTV and Vh1 only air videos late at night when everyone is supposed to be asleep. So I really don't see why they still make videos in the first place, I mean they could take the money that they are making from that and put it to better use like giving it to people or places that actually need the money, but that's too good of an idea these record companies wouldn't go for that. @shaymc05 I think she should as well, I know it can get hard in the entertainment business, but she is too talented to let her talent go to waste like that. I look at it like this for example if Garret A. Morgan hadn't invented the stop light, we would all be driving cars right now ramming into each other having wrecks everyday, because there would be nothing to tell us when to stop and when to go. If I ever get my own radio station music like this will be the only music played, none and I mean none of the junk they play on the radio today will be played. @shaymc05 I agree with you, the songs that most of these radio stations play is pure bs and it is shameful that they have nerve enough to call it music. The radio station where I live they play the same songs all day long they play lil wayne first then they move on to Lady Gaga, then they play drake, then they play nicki minaj, then its Katy Perry, then eminem, then rick ross. We had a station that played artist like Kindred where I live, but they got bought out. You may have to start your own.

@BlaqueReign25 yea the radio stations around here play that same line up allllllll day long. around 10pm they will play some music like this but i have never heard them play any kindred or ledisi or artist like them. we had a station that played all of that but they got bought out too n was replaced with the new bs! i kinda figure if i want it my way i will have to start my own station. good thing im only 23 lol so i have plenty of time to get that started.

@shaymc05 They do that where I live too, they call it Sunday night slow jams, but really its not cause they do it all week. But even that DJ R Dub has to sprinkle in some Nicki Minaj or Drake, its sad really. I would love to have a station that played nothing but Kindred, Ledsi, Donnie, Conya Doss, India Arie, Hil St. Soul, Amel Larruix, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, Goapele, Raheem Devaughn, & Rashann Patterson. It is good that you are still young, you have plenty of time to get things going.

@shaymc05 That would be cool, lol. Call it being too optamistic but I think there would be less killings and shootings going on in the world if there was more music like this. I know that people will still and always be people and you can't change the things that some people do, say or the way some people think, but this kind of music would at least point them in the right direction as opposed to all the other music that just keeps our commiunites down and gives us all a bad name.

If your into the Mr. Biggish side of Ron Isley he's got some songs like that on there and if your into just plain old Mr. Ron Isley then he has got some of that on their as well. @shaymc05 Great, I spent it with all the people I love, I had great food, in fact too much great food, but I worked it all off later playing the Michael Jackson Video game, that thing gives you a real workout. I watched the Lakers get beat on Saturday and overall had a wonderful Christmas. @BlaqueReign25 i've been good! when i get in the car i mainly play cd's of mine or play my ipod which has all the stuff i like on it. lol the only time i listen to the radio is at night when they play the stuff i want to hear or when im in the car with someone else n their playin it so i cant turn it or anythin lol. yea it does seem like theypaid the radio stations off just to play there stuff. the radio station here throws in a gucci mane song or a soulja boy song in the mix of young money lol.

I can't wait for summer though, I need a break from school, it can get pretty stressful, listening to kindred does help me alot though as it is very relaxing music. They don't put the video on everyday like they should, but the fact they put it on is great, they should play more videos like it. I watch Centric for the videos in the morning and for the old Soul Train re-runs that is about it i would love to see some fresh new exciting programming on Centric I get tired of the same old shows day in and day out, maybe that should be my next step a t.v station

@BlaqueReign25 i think that if they started to switch the music they play the ratings may go down but yea i only watch centric for the videos in the am n i watch soul train sometimes but i really dont want to watch jamie foxx show or sister and sister all day long, i think they need a new line-up of shows but yea having a tv station would be amazing just as the radio station also. play the stuff i want to play n create shows i would want to watch!

@shaymc05 That is true, I agree with you while I love those shows, I don't want to see them all of time, honestly I think all of the BET\Centric programming has gone down since Bob Johnson sold out to Viacom, now there is nothing on there to stimulate the minds of our youth or anyone. I am glad they brought back Ed Gordon, but they don't really promote his show like they should, so hardly anyone knows when it comes on. The movie repeats that they show, get on my nerves as well.

@shaymc05 I know what you mean, I swear if they show soul plane one more time I am going to scream. I was shocked as well, because I didn't think he was the type of person to be that way. It went way down from there, it went from Teen Summit ( which I miss terribly by the way) to 106 and park which besides the videos trys to be like teen summit sometimes especially with having the young host and diffrent topics they talk about sometimes.

I miss Video Vibrations, that's where I always heard about the latest music and Video Soul with Donnie Simpson and Sherrie Carter and I can't forget about Cita's world, In ya ear and Midnight love, man those were the days. @shaymc05 The my garden album is a very nice album, my dad had the record in his old collection of albums, but it disappeared many years ago and no one knows what happend to it. Yep he was a rapper first and his song I need a dollar in fact came from the fact that he really needed a dollar as he had just been laid off from his job. So that was his inspiration for the song, he calls hiself Aloe Blacc because back when he was a rapper, he saw that every rapper had some sort of a moniker for them

Actually I have always been very fond of some of the overseas artist as they put so much heart and passion into their work and some of them choose not to follow what's popular and just do their own thing, I like that.

I am sure that was very cute and from the sound of it, it looks like it is going to be a video without cars, rims, jewlrey and half naked women, which sounds great to me. @shaymc05 Because she just wasn't getting the support that a lot of these other artist were like the Beyonce's and the Rhianna's. Which I think is a shame because she is a good artist. Sadly I think if she were out there on stage or in her videos dressed half naked and shaking her bum everywhere people would love it and her record company would be all over it, but she chooses not to do that and I say good for her. @shaymc05 That is true, the only time BET shows videos is during 106 and Park and MTV and Vh1 only air videos late at night when everyone is supposed to be asleep. So I really don't see why they still make videos in the first place, I mean they could take the money that they are making from that and put it to better use like giving it to people or places that actually need the money, but that's too good of an idea these record companies wouldn't go for that. They did a movie about the Tuskegee Airmen before, which came on HBO, so I am interested to see how this one differs from that one.
