jamie xx made himself the don of steel drums, like mark ronson made himself the don of horns. its as if they invented that sound and it was not heard before.both like thick 90's hip hop beats. it's all about melding different things. getting popular by making covers. the beat is basically a cheesy "calabria" or reggaeton, but with an "indie" feel. is that really the future of music?

Jamie XX is the biggest inspiration for me to start producing.. He's style, and originality, is so slick, there is no difference between this and the studio track, this could be better live just to watch him create such magic and watching i'm getting into it, and enjoying it, and Yasmin voice is flat, what she's doing is right. Enough said. Crowd could be better ;)

@randwan hearing it here does sound flat but download the boiler room podcast, sounds alot better plus the whole set awsome in itself. Think the sound recording is being picked up by the camera on this so it sounds all shitty but in the podcast its a direct recording from then PA.
