Good work, looks like your playing it right but your making it harder for yourself by playing some parts all on one string and moving so far up and down the neck. Try changing some of the notes to other strings for example if you play on your 4th string on 6 it would be the same note on your 3rd string if you played it on the first fret. Mess around with that idea because its the key to playing faster and cleaner.

Hey I just bought the same guitar, except I think one of the pickups is broken. You know the pickup switch, when I switch to the bridge pickup, I can't hardly hear it at all. Is this the same with yours or is there in fact something wrong?

when i bought mine i seemed to have a similar problem, my neck pickup wasnt giving any output unless i had it set a wierd angle using the screws. solved it by opening up the back and resoldering the wires, seems like one of the wires wasnt connected completely.

EMG's use UNBALANCED preamps..which creates hum and buzz. Blackouts on the otherhad use BALANCED inputs resulting in 12dB to 14dB less noise. This means less noise than that of other active pickups...say EMG, more lows, more highs, and more output. Simply put, Blackouts have more tone than other active pickups. EMGs pick up too much treble, resulting in a tinny sound. Simply put Blackouts are thee best active pick ups avalible.

Why wouldnt it go lower than a d? parkway drive plays in drop c#, bullet for my valentine plays drop d# bmth plays in drop a# ur just adjust ur tunin technique. instead of tuning from 7 on the E, u tune from 3 on the E, lowerin the entire bottom 5 strings, then tunin the top string to the 2nd. easy
