Noob! The template works great! I installed front and rear 2 piece kit on mine, should have bought different wheels... racing brakes go with lightweight racing wheels :P
tjaj the company that sold them "stillen" told they would and its called customer service to return something idiots please stop posting on my vid I don't even own this crappy car any more
I am surprised they even let you return the big brake kit after you installed them.
They did you a favor to allow you to return them since they clearly disclose no returns on opened kits. How can they be expected to know if their kit will fit your aftermarket wheels. I bought their big brake kit and was completely satisfied. It is important to read the disclosures before buying or installing anything.
Your right, I should have, I didnt know spacers even existed lol I wish stillen would have at least told me that, Im sure all of the postings phrasing stillen are employees LOL, just posted video b/c i was very unhappy with stillen customer service. AP brakes are still pretty cool looking. i sent stillen the specs on my wheels and they said "oh yeah there fine"
Sounds like you didn't do enough research. However you could have made them fit without bigger wheels, most of the time people just run a spacer between the mounting hub assembly and the wheel. I run a 20mm spacer on my S2000 to fit the Brembo BBK.
everybody beware of stillen they have horrible customer support. spend about 5 or 6 grand there and they didnt believe me and they charged me $500 refund fee. beware
I've bought brakes several times from them. They clearly state that the fit check needs to be done before purchasing big brakes. They've sold many hundreds of kits for the Altima. You failed, now pay the restock fee. Their customer service has been fine.
Fail. It's not about having 'bigger' wheels, it's about having a wheel with the right amount of space from the mounting edge to the back of the spoke in order to clear the calipers. You should have checked that out in advance. I called STILLEN and TireRack prior to upgrading to this kit to make sure my new wheels would be fine.
yeah i called stillan and told them what kind of wheels i had and they said they would fit. and the templet they give is shit and not user friendly oh well
Isn't all this b.s. just a matter of improper wheel offset? Seems to me that's all the problem is. I've heard AP's stuff is really quite good.
