ya I know my engine has probs it needs a rebuild or new one. ran bout 5 gal with it. from the high temp's its had its warped and has realy tight compression which is y I yanked out my pull start trying to start it. no it wasnt flooded. if you check out my channel you can see my pull start apart. yes I have also made it shift sooner this was a known prob just didnt fix
nice vid! but wont sand get in to the gears etc so you will wear that baby out quicker? cool car ive got the 4.1 and i want to get an engine upgrade but still flies lol
sand wont realy get in the gears cus everything is covered but the bell gear and spur and I upgraded to a steel spur gear cus I just riped up the plastic one when my engine moved a bit from crash. only prob I have now is it runs hot and melts the EXHAUST COUPLING and gets loud
either your first gear is tightened or ur slipper clutch is slipping whne u accelerate from start bacause that engine sounds like its tearing apart when u accelerate, not too good..
I have a diff gear set up then stock and need to make it shift sooner. but ya it will go out on me some time no matter what I do it runs at like 280 degrees, I set it so rich that it die's when I hit the gas so I realy dont care let it blow lol
well maybe then its not jus your hish speed needle, did u try adjusting ur other needles?
my engine once reached 400F, lol can u beleive it store tore up perfectly after that, but the thing is that mine was runing hot in the begining, and then it never tuned right, ended up being a loose car and whne i tried to fix it, i damaeged a ring dat holds the carb, so its either $100 to get new replacement or $180 for new Axial .32...
idk it might be a little off also cus the temp gun I have is not ajustable so it's probly off some too. I can get it lower but then it wont shift into 2nd so thats y i just made it shift sooner but cant run it till i fix pull start
no I riped it out trying to start it lol. I'll make a vid right now show you how dirty it is and that I pulled the pull start out check out my channel.
I sould say I've tryed it that rich I dont run it that way cus no fun when it dont move. but any way I pulled the pull cord out so I gota fix that some time so I can get some more use out of it.
yes its the same truck with a few diffrent things. new tires + rims cus I broke the tires but the front are still stock tires. only other change is I took out the dog bones for the front tires so its just rear wheel drive.
genraly the biger the engine more more gas you use. I dont know the size of the tank but it lasts like 10min before you need to refuel(depends on how your drive it) and it uses nitro fuel about $25(us dollor) a gal.

I would recommend lowing the shifting point a bit. It sounds like its shifting a tad late.

they dont sell these any more because they kept fuckin but because the air filter was way to small but on the savage 3.5 its fuckin huge i have 1 lol

something is wrong, it don`t sound right, to ritch at the low end and to lean in the high end. and make your gear shift faster (earlier)

ya I ajusted every needle but just caused problems with it runing. im runing 20% cus thats what hpi recomends to use.

it was a dried up beach so thats why there was rocks all over the place, the water was really low from what it is nomraly
