  • какво разочарование от ЕС и нашето членство. С какво се подобри или промени живота ни? Вече си мисля, че е по-добре да не бяхме членове на ЕС! Да не пеем скоро РЕКВИЕМ...

  • cheers, Bulgarians, our kindred nation! kindred because we are both in the same situation of being at the tail of the EU... we have come along way from communism but we still have a lot of obstacles; I hope both our countries overcome those obstacles, and I wish you all the best!!

    Greetings from Romania!

  • Great!

    Chicago USA

  • This video false representation of true opinion of Bulgarians.

    >50% now are against European Union

proof that they finally awake to zionist plot that is EU

Bulgaria shall no longer be Colony!

  • I do not think Bulgaria should have joined the Union - nor Romania come to that. The Union should have stuck to western and northern European nations in my opinion.

  • Because Easterns aren't developed as the westerns? :) Here a Look Back in Time: Southeastern Europe (Balkans) A place which is a battlefield from the middle ages till present days. And plus Communism in addition that has lead countries like Bulgaria and Romania to a collapse in aspect of economic and values. it would only be a matter of time until we get better with an economic improvement.

  • @Darkson1c8511

The real economic problem Bulgaria has is it's government.. Stop blaming communism for everything!

  • @TheUltimateAddict I do not know about Bulgaria but here in RO, the generally accepted viewpoint is that becuase all our politicians, or most of them, have a commie background, they are all corrupted, malevolent, or just plain idiots! and since our government is formed from politicians... you get the idea

since romania and bulgaria have had a parallel evolution since the fall of communism I dare say you probably have the same problem

  • @TheFederalEurope Europe need Bulgaria because its geographical placement - which would be a good perspective in geopolitical plan. Maybe you should think over all the things before you share your opinion.

P.S : "United we stand, divided we fall"

  • @Darkson1c8511 And what would be this so called: "Geopolitical plan" you speak of?

  • @TheFederalEurope Well, let me explain: Europe is quite dependent from Russia for its gas supplies and wants to gain more independence. That is why the Nabucco pipeline is planned to be build - it will bring gas from the Middle East. The point is that the pipeline must pass through Bulgaria (it cannot pass through the mountinous western Balkans). With the Russian influence growing strong in Bulgaria this project could be easily blocked. And EU accepted Bulgaria to counter the Russian influence.

  • @TheFederalEurope Can you explane why do you think that Bulgaria and Romania shouldnt join EU? And how EU should "stuck" to western and northen European nations when countries like Greece and Italy are in EU long time ago? Are this countries western or northen? And by the way EU have only profit from us, we pay more taxes as members then we take as subsidies.

  • @TheFederalEurope well good thing nobody took your opinion into account!!!

  • @bbphnix Noticed all of you replying to my comment are Bulgarian or Romanian. So obviously you would not take my opinion into account. Democracy please.

  • Poland Bulgaria Slovakia & all the other East European countries dreaming of new prosperity will never see it happen. The EU is run by an unelected leader & will totally collapse in 10 years or less due to making the west European countries pay too much tax & too much financial aid for the poorer countries. Greece & Ireland are bankrupt. Next Spain then Italy. After that Britain and France will stop paying money into the EU because they will not have any money left, then it will all fall apart.

  • @ALBIONTYKE

Lets hope so, the EU is little better than the early days of Nazi Germany. The Fourth Reich is here.

  • @holymoly42 f you have the time to look up my channel your comment re the Fourth Reich is fact.

  • I am proud to be bulgarian !

  • fucking fake union DIE FOR EU

  • A beautiful anthem for humanity as much as for Europe.

Is the ending, sung by the kid, the same meaning as the German version?

I heard something like "brat'ya sichki ljudi stava.... chtob s krylja povesti"... Knowing Russian I guess it's something like:

"People become brothers... ?? wings of... ???"

Which would fit with "Bettler werden Fürstenbrüder wo dein sanfter Flügel weilt."

  • @bayesianconspiracy It means "All people become brothers when you blows with wings" something like this. In bulgarian it sound like this "Bratia vsychki lyude stavat schtom s kryla poveesh ti."

  • @Miroslav84bg

    Thanks!

  • Bulgaria is under European slavery ... We the Bulgarian working people need to rebel and push the European Corporate Fashist Burjoazy`s out of our country .

  • goodorbadchoose Haha why do you think that the economy of Turkey is more good than the Bulgarian ? I'll tell you why ! Couse from your side has been stolen everything which can be stolen from countries like Romania,Bulgaria ! And what ? You are proud that your country is more rich than Bulgaria or other poor country like our ? Well be PROUD ! Your country can only steal from the other countries... Long live EU ! Turkey out of the European area !

  • bardzo ładne, ciarki...

    very nice, goose bumps...

  • Am english and am not a fan of the E.U, I think its a great thing to be part of if your a poor nation but if your Britain France or Germany its not because all it does is sap our wealth we dont get much out of it, as for immigration its killing britain it really is!.........as for ode to joy as an anthem of europe i think it should stay in Deutsch!!

  • @Nero200 I certainly appreciate your opinion. Yet I think somehow you miss the idea/concept of the motion picture above. Are you sure you didn't get here by mistake?

  • nice

  • Nexts are,Croatia,Turkey,Macedonia,Bosnia,Albania,Serbia,Kosovo,Ukranie,Moldova and maybe one day Georgia Azerbaijan and Armania.

  • Europe has to stay united and the Euro is a Great thing. The only problem at the moment are speculations against the euro (but the Euro will survive).

  • interesting

  • interesting

  • Next is Croatia,Turkey,Ukraine,Georgia,,,,

  • @dilcii forget about turkey. Now we make referendum for turkey.

  • @dilcii chess with pawn

  • Ahahahaha

    ha-ha-ha !

  • Welcome back home Bulgarians ;-)

  • cold bulgariya (I'm a Brit guys)

  • cold bulgariya (I'm a Brit guys)

  • What a shitty video, I feel shamed of being part of this. Not proud to be Bulgarian

  • There was a very educational video about Bulgaria's successes, what we have invented and other stuff. Some people need to see it and learn some history so that they will not be so arrogant and will not consider some countries "sucky".

  • Anyways how much we took from british economy? Not much, i think imigrants helped economy by decreasing production costs, but it hurt some british employes, who would do the same work for higher cost. Among some assholes which are in every society, mostly (pick any nation) workers aren't acting like that. Anyways, aren't there any other emplyess? Did he really neaded them? What with labour unions in UK, claiming that "poles steals their job". if 1 dont want to work, hire someone else, simple!

  • Comment removed

  • well for a start bulgaria is pretty much run by mafias and has been since the fall of communism (much like romania). I am more than happy for the economy of bulgaria to improve, i just dont want to be the one who is paying for it. But you are right, english hooligans will invade if you market the place the same as estonia, czech or latvia.

  • Comment removed

  • @trigga1uk Oh... Man start thinking! Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Czech, Slovakia and other new countries are rebuilding them selfs after communist reign to construct new strong europe for both of us! Stop spamming nonsense crap from british tabloids. If you want to know many polish workers got back to their country after average 1-3 year perioid...

( P.S anyways- tabloids for me schould be banned... including in my country)

  • yea, they filled their pockets and ran back home when the cash cow was empty, like some bloody plague of locusts. How much money was simply taken out of our economy?I know people who had polish builders who had problems with their work, they phone the builder and get told "sorry, i am in warsaw now, its your problem, bye". This isnt crap from tabloids, this is how western europe should realise eastern europe are desperate people (im not sure why, poland was suprisingly pleasant)

  • @trigga1uk Desperate people? You got to be kidding... We aren't desperate at all. Anyways start looking for oportunities! For polish people UK was a great oportunity to earn some good cash, you can get it now here the same in Poland - the only one economy not injured by crysis in EU . We are organizing euro 2012 we need highways, help with stadiums, hotel personel well speaking foreign language, and many others. I cant see anything bad, cuz you can do it the same...

  • @grubson234567 Now Britain,France, Spain, Italy , Ireland, Holland, Belgium, Austria & Denmark have no money left because they are paying too much for the poor east European countries. When they stop paying the EU will be finished. End Game in 10 years.

  • @ALBIONTYKE Omg i can't describe how stupid your 2nd comment was. Money from UE in due of crysis are limited if you want to know dumbass. Besides... there are many more reasons of financial trobubles in europe even in eastern countries.

In fact Poland seems to be the only one which got a rising PKB in the region without any special help from UE. So far diferent situation from "wealthy" western Island or Greece. STFU dude... About UE faling apart- well we will see...

  • @grubson234567 You cant know much about how the EU really works. Britain pays 80 BILLION Euro per year for membership so we can subsidise your country & others. Every year as the contribution goes up higher than inflation. The vast majority of the population in Britain plus France, Holland, Denmark & Ireland also want to leave to EU. Look for yourself at the wages the EU leaders pay themselves, the highest in the world ! Italy & Spain would need 12 times the crises money now held in the EU.

  • @grubson234567 The financial troubles in most European countries are due to living from money that was not earned in the first place by propping up the EU monster. trade has reduced so many countries will suffer. This is crunch time. Polands is only growing because you have industry with low wages. Most of your exports are to Europe, so when west Europe is broke you customers will STOP. If you were not in the EU you would not have EU grants to spend on your infrastructure, which is our money !

  • @ALBIONTYKE And you idiot think that Poland is not paying that fee? Oh stop kidding me... And yep we got founds and yes these founds for eastern countries developement will be decreased if you want to know. And sorry, but you are wrong about polish trade&industry cuz currently is mostly directed on east side of europe, and eastern markets. You know... scar after comunist times, finaly become useful once.

P.S You are right in 1 sentence it is "OUR" money...

  • @grubson234567 You missed my point. The industrial infrastructure that is allowing you to trade is from from western Europe via EU grants. You obtain far more in grants than the small amount you pay back. That is economic suicide for the EU. If it is OUR money then please share it equally ! Imagine if the 70 plus million people of Turkey joined, then Brussels said sorry Poland you now have to pay 5 times more money in than you get in grants AND let in Turks. Your economy would collapse.

  • @grubson234567 We are not rebuilding from comunist control we were better when we were comunistic nation know we are just trying to fit in with america after all we are NATO members but it will be better to be comunist dont forget bulgaria was this close - - to become Soviet Republic Nikita Hruschov did not alow but on the new year of 1989 we were going to join and start the 1990 as SOVIET UNION LAND but the comintern council was dismissed ; /

  • @grubson234567 Corrent man. Again, back in Europe together. Greetings to you from Czech rep. : )

  • @trigga1uk That is the most rediculious statement I have ever heard. Your a complete idiot for saying this. At least when Bulgarians "invade" your country they will make it look better because in general, Brits are some of the ugliest motherfuckers on this planet. That includes you too, asshole. Go fuck yourself hard and often.

  • they should withdraw and then rejoin the UN. :) LOL vfhkufgviuxfyhuytgjmjukbiubh78ggbhugcf8hjmjft h

  • Bulgaria should join to the Asian Union they know why. :))

  • Blad771

Yep. And you should join the union of morons worldwide ;)

  • Do you consider your country as more European than Bulgarians? What is this hatred, hard to understand.

  • Beautiful music.

  • Worst mistake Bulgarian government ever make is to join the EU.

Ever since Bulgaria's membership in the EU, prices of goods and services have TRIPLED. The people were also never asked if they wanted to join, there was no referendum, there was no vote.

    Western "democracy" my ass.

Pozdrav ot Slovak.4ao

  • what is that bad on beeing a part of the eu?

  • @qualmimero82

it's not a bad thing, they're just masking their obvious racist/nationalist sentiments by claiming to support freedom and democracy by saying that the EU does not advocate this. Their arguments are completely flawed because they're not real arguments, if they were more honest they'd just say "I'm anti-EU because I don't want foreigners in my country".

  • @MyOldWifeNowDead

I don't know where you're getting your facts, Bulgaria's economic growth has increased because of the free movement of goods and services. Also now there are more jobs available for the people of Bulgaria. How can you say "Western 'democracy' my ass" when Bulgaria has had to reinforce its national parliamentary democracy in order to qualitfy for EU membership??

  • I get my 'facts' from INSIDE Bulgaria.

And over 50% of Bulgarians agree with me that joining the EU was not a bad idea.

  • I see, so you can truthfully claim to have the personal support of over 50% of Bulgaria's population? So where are your aproximately 4 million Bulgarians who are willing to testify for you?

  • They would, but they're too busy living in poverty to afford internet, thanks to your colonialist empire.

  • Orly then why a political act such as joining the EU was not been considered on a referendum or been discussed by a "Great People meeting" but by the comon People meeting. This an act of limithing the soverenity of my state and act that is aganst the Bulgarian constitution. This is just an other "union/aliance/pact" that Bulgaria is joining just like the SIF tready back in the East block. We scrued our own asses again.Typical for the politicts of the Third bulgarian state.

  • Hah, i´d like to see all countries of Europe in European Union, except Bulgaria. I guess you would die alone. Its not about, if you wanna or dont wanna join the EU, its about analysing conditions of your country as a member state, or not a member state, and result is : EU can exist without Bulgaria, Bulgaria cant exist without the EU. dot.

  • Writes a guy from Czech...

  • Yep, whats weird ? We´re fully realising this situation, and we understand that we cant play such a role as Switzerland or Norway, no matter how mr. Klaus presents Czech. Same thing with Netherlands.:)

  • The point is that you rip on Bulgaria while you come from a country that is quite similar.

  • If Czech republic is similar to Bulgaria, then Netherlands is similar to Romania.

  • @dark33r

    what a joker you are...lol...go hide :-)

  • you go hide, german, pffffff : )

  • I am Bulgarian, you obviously cannot read either ;) Your comments are basically full of sh$t, your online behavior is full of sh$t, so why don't you spare us the efforts to read your posts in the first place?

  • You obviously cannt type a "b-u-l-g-a-r-i-a" on your profile, cause it really looks like "g-e-r-m-a-n-y". My behaviour is full of shit, i agree. :)

  • The information on my channel is factual. I happen to live in Germany at the moment but for some reason you sort of missed the part that my hometown- also on my profile- is Sofia(unless you believe that Sofia is a city in Germany, which would be....interesting..;)

  • Czech jealousy idiot

  • ONE EUROPE! ONE NATION! ONE FEDERATION! Let us unite and love one another, Union and love Show the people The way of the Lord (from the Italian anthem).

  • You know that if the EU results in a federal state, it'll end in ethnic conflict and slaughter.

Learn from Yugoslavia and the USSR

  • @MyOldWifeNowDead

I really don't see how EU membership will result in Europeans cutting each other into pieces. That's just ridiculous lies that you're spreading to get people to agree with you're false opinion through fear.

  • >through fear

    HAHAHA OH WOW

The EU's existence pretext was fear. Fear of war.

You know who else used fear to create a super state? Vladimir Lenin and his successor Joseph Stalin.

Like the USSR, the EU wants to create a new people, called "Europeans." They don't want you to be British or French or Italian. They want you to abandon your national identity.

  • @MyOldWifeNowDead

Well of course it was based on the idea that war was destructive and had disastrous consequences for the continent. But your comparison with Stalin is stupid as the first European Council didn't use fear to spread its message, Europeans were fresh from two world wars and new well themselves the importance of unity and peace in Europe. The fear of war in Europe was and is real, unlike that of Stalin who cultivated a personality cult.

  • No different. The EU(SSR) is run like the Soviet Union, by an unelected bureaucracy. Sure, you might say the EU has a parliament, but so did the USSR (supreme Soviet)

Doesn't change anything. The USSR's bureaucracy lied using communism, the EU's bureaucracy is lying using so called "democracy."

  • HAHAHAHA you should lean something about the EU!

  • @MyOldWifeNowDead

Actually, you're wrong because there is no correlation to how the USSR was run and how the present-day EU is run. First of all you can hardly call the EU officials a bureaucracy when they number to aproximately 24, 000 (less than the total amount of people running the BBC), also this "bureaucracy" is elected. The parliament is directly elected and the commission is made up people proposed by the directly elected national governments of Europe, this is not undemocratic.

  • Nothing bad whit that :) if its going for the good of all...in some children story :(

  • end was a bit weird

  • An one thing more.Which idiot made this video?:) where is Slovenia?:D Slovenia became member of EU before Bulgaria.:D

  • @django1281986 LOL, Bulgarians forgot Slovenia! :D Nevermind, everybody knows she's in the union! cheers

  • One more reason to love Bulgaria. It is my favourite country in Europe. It has Kazanlak, the rose city. Yes, I have been there and loved every moment of the ritual. You have everything, the weather, the history, cuture, music, wine, food, beautiful women and great coast line. Stop envying the West. They have nothing. Materialism and greed has destroyed their society. Make your country richer without becoming a slave to materialism.

  • That's lovely but ask Bulgarians about period in communism.:) and Bulgaria also have some other stuff which i believe they will never beat without EU help like coruption or mafia...we will see...

  • @django1281986 Is that because the EU got rid of mafia and corruption in one of the EU's founding nations (Italy)? Nothing changes there, EU will never correct Italy and if the EU forces these countries to clean up, then it will result in the expulsion of members. Lets see how the mighty EU can control Greece, they will be the first country to abandon the Euro and return to their own currency if the government can't raise reforms.

  • Bulgaria has risen in wealth because they are part of the EU and let's ask the Bulgarians what they think about the west. Because we made them wealthier!

  • every time when i hear ode to joy i feel very proud of being part of UE. It was a good choice picking ode 2 joy as a hymn hehe.

Keep your head rised Bulgarian brothers :].

  • me too.. but I'm proud to be part of the EU not UE:)

  • lil mistake ;) i meant EU

  • btw it's the same :) European Union = United Europe :P ... I suppose :?

  • UE= Union européenne ;).

    Vive notre union!

  • Vive l'Europe!

  • @Sylw3g It is "EU" and not "UE" as you suggest!

  • Comment removed

  • @ericartwo1 It's UE on latin languages.

  • @benfalas But I live in England where we speak English as do all other contributors on this board

  • @ericartwo1 I know. I'm just explaining you why.

And if you support the EU, you should support our multi-linguistic culture too.

In Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Romanian you use UE. But I understand your point.

  • @ericartwo1 europa united european union united europa who cares we are in peace now

  • @warlight2333 I guess. You are at peace with each other, but at war with foreigners like me.

  • Merry Christmas my Dear Europe! All of it, from the west end of Galicia in Spain to the eastern tip of Cyprus!

  • Hmm next time some more pics, i can personally take some very good shots, especially at night

  • Beautiful!!!

  • this is beautiful

  • Turkey never in EU,we don t need muslim country in EU!

TURKEY MUST RETURN ODRIN TO BULGARIA!

  • The way I see it when it comes to people hating the EU and the open borders is that I've been lucky to have been born in one of the wealthiest countries in the World, the only reason I live here was sheer luck. People in the poorer countries in Europe weren't as lucky in that regard so who are we to say who can try their luck in the rich countries and who can't? If open borders means that my country can be a place where someone can come and realize their dreams then I'm all for it.

  • Your country would be lucky if there were more people like you in it.

  • You have a great perception of the world.

Being a person brought up in a/this 'poorer' country

I would also like to add that realizing one's dream

sometimes is embodied by living in a civilized society

rather than the 'financial' dream many aspire to.

Money, though not easy to acquire in these less developed places, could eventually be overcome in one way or another

but the moral and ethical poverty there is an extremely touch issue to tackle.

  • @bistrosidecar But the money-sucking vampires holding chairs aren't, sadly.

  • @bistrosidecar Yes. You are lucky to live in a wealthy country. I know. I am from a poor country. You Europeans have lots of friends. We only have one - the United States.

  • @MarschNZ great friend you have.........here we say show me your friends to show you who you are....i wish you don't look like them...

  • very nice video :) I love Bulgaria ,nice country nice people. I greet Bulgary ,esspecially Burgas and Sofia
