I am going to South Korea for a year next february through YFU :D :D :D But I was just wondering- I've followed your videos from when you were in Korea, and I thought they were a really great resource- I was just wondering, what grade were you when you went to Korea? Are you in University now? Thanks and really nice to see ya again :) :)
@Hejhejliente oh awesome!! good luck in korea^^ I went for my 1st semester as a senior in high school because that was the first year korea was even offered, so i didnt have much of a choice haha
and yes! i am a sophomore now in a university (dont wanna say out loud where haha just for safety ><)
@videomonkey10 xD thanks :D :D I am super duper excited and cannooottt wait to go, but I leave in february- So long from now =____=. Do you think that was a good year to go? (And I understand about the safety :) )
um, yea it was a good time to go, but i missed some of my senior year and i HAD TO catch up in order to graduate... but i didnt miss prom! i think it was a good preparation for college too^^
I had started studying Korean back in my freshman year of high school so I also spent a lot of time searching for Korean study abroad options available to high school students and didn't find much beyond what you shared in this video. I had to wait until I was in college to go over : / Another thing, I've heard some Korean universities don't accept people from certain countries. My friend from Venezuela wasn't able to attend Yonsei solely because of her nationality : /
@mmhmmrachel91 are you serious? that's terrible that they wouldnt accept your friend :( i guess since korean language is just now becoming popular due to the "korean wave", the amount of options for people to learn the langauge abroad is still lacking...
ur cute!! :p
