I rem. watching BW in its orig. run in '94 on YTV. used 2 air Weekends about supper time. then 1 day over the credits, the announcer says "moving 2 a new time: Mon. morn. @ 9" (while I'm in school! NOOO!). Kept asking mom 2 tape it, but she kept forgetting, I then tried 2 set the VCR b4 I left, but by then it was gone. 1 contestant I rem. was Tony McDowell, a chunkier looking guy & I identified w/ him being a "fat" kid & cried when he lost. if mem. serves, he lost lost to Fernando in the semis.

This Select media production show was shot at Barker Hanger and did have Eric Wiley and Pat Parnell as contestant and Gladiator. It was done after 12 shows however and The 100,000 prize was never awarded. The show was shot in 1995.

You are my hero for today. I've been trying to find out the name of this show for quite a while. I remembered there being a guy named Eric Wylie on it, but Googling his name didn't help me any. I found stuff about other inline skating shows but could not find this one.

I worked on this show, one of my first jobs in the industry.

The guy who designed the sets was John Troxel?

I remember Fernando, Randy, Allison and Astrid (she was a cutie, was a pro skier?)

I also remember Tia Carrer being a host, cuz I used to flirt with her on set;)

It was fun, but low budget, didn't get picked up for final 100k show, so split it among the semi-finalists.

I remember that show, I watched it all the time. I remember every episode from the 1st season... but I never ever saw the 2nd season. Who won the $100,000 anyways?

i remember watching this show on Sportsnet (in canada) mabye around 2000 ish... 1999.. somewhere around there.. anyway.. when i thought of this show again in 2004 i emailed someone from sportsnet asking about if they have the rights and things like that... and the lady told me that they destroyed all the tapes lol

Thank goodness...I've been looking for info on this show for ever. I was begining to think I imagined it. I haven't found a thing at all except for this.
