Living Overseas as a CIA Case Officer

Are you people on drugs?! The man not only served his country through and through, but he also in fact turned his back on the CI for the same reasons specified in his resignation letter. He may be a tad weird at times, though his service was impeccable. And that's that.

Stockwell's actions were highly suspicious and highly questionable.  Perhaps he was just playing a role so that people would leave him alone thinking that he had turned his back on the CIA, when in fact he never really did. Or, perhaps he really was a traitor to the United States of America.
