Did you guys know that jack likes her simple drumming and he doesn't allow her to get drumming lessons, so yeah she sucks but it's not her fault. Jack says he likes the simplicity she brings, and the recounteurs Are just a side band it's not perminent.

If you want to attack Meg's drumming, go ahead, but it's not like she or Jack cares. She's earned a lot more money than you on the drums, and Jack obviously wants to keep her. Those who say she shouldn't be there simply DON'T GET THE POINT of the White Stiripes. If you do get the point, which is the simplicity, just don't bother explaining it to them because they don't get it and never will.

this was never a argument over whether or not the white stripes were good, or how jack plays or any of that. put meg white ALONE in a room to record on a set and i guarantee all of you dumasses defending meg white wouldn't be able to listen to the beats she makes. take their fame and fortune out the mix, take jack outta the mix, meg white is an absolutely terrible drummer

Jack told us in an interview that the got inspiritation because of the symplistic drumming by Meg, that was a key thing for this band to become what it became.

you're a fucking idiot. she's been playing the exact same stuff since "white stripes" came out. jack plays sloppy catchy riffs and meg plays 4/4 on the floor tom. there is nothing to get about meg's drumming. i know an instructor that refuses to teach any white strips drum beats because they're so terrible. jack is amazing, meg blows, their tone is amazing...thats what white stripes is

"strum" you got this right. i checked back here to see how the comments are doing and im disappointed that people are still trying to defend meg white. there could be a few songs to play simple stuff, but they could be so much better if there was some depth in the percussion, some interesting stuff. I listen to the white stripes because jack white it amazing.
