  • Who the hell is Joe Lewis?

  • @Redux35 man you are lost, boxing is asmuch about taking a punch as giving one. Marciano ate up every punch he ever took! All he needed was a clean shot and you were gone. Granted, boxers these days are stronger bigger and faster but that doesnt mean they can take a punch. All the boxers you have named would have eventually ended up on the canvas, Tyson included Im sorry to say (Hes my Number 2 Ali is down at 4 ) Believe me size and speed has nothing to do with succes as 'The Rock' proved.

  • @DaBestia66 Rocky Marciano never fought anyone great in their prime. Muhammad Ali & Tyson would of beaten him. Good but no the best, but top 10.

  • @AFFTL ali lost 5 times you retard. marciano never lost. just because his opponents were inferior to some of ali's opponents, it doesn't mean ali would have beat him. EPIC LOGIC FAIL. ali is one of the most overrated boxers in history... only 50 ko percentage... 5 defeats... lol sure he is the greatest....

  • @ImpressivePilot Did I say that was the reason he would beat him. I didn't say that was the reason, but it is something you can judge a fighter on. Muhammad Ali was the greatest ever. He wasn't a knock out Boxer, he was a scientific Boxer. And he beat a lot of the best, & hardest punchers of all time, including the hardest puncher ever. But he still knocked a lot of people out.

  • @ImpressivePilot He beat ''A lot'' of the best & a lot of the hardest punchers ever. Going on his record & quality of record, which is a big way of judging a fighter, & his skills & how he Boxed, he was the greatest Boxer ever.

& he would of beat Rocky Marciano. He beat fighters who hit harder than Marciano & who were around his skill level. Learn how to read.

  • @AFFTL you learn to read. 5!!! defeats. a boxer who loses 5!!!!! times is not the greatest. how do you call boxers who beat "the greatest"? they're obviously greater than "the greatest". how do you call them? god?

going on his record and quality of record (no loss/over 90 percent ko percentage), which is a big way of judging a fighter, marciano was the greatest boxer ever. that's a fact. you can't deny the facts.

  • @ImpressivePilot Oh right lol, So Mike Tyson is not one of the greatest fighters ever 5 loses, 5, Larry Holmes 6, George Foreman 5 Evander Holyfeild about 10. Sugar Ray Robinson the greatest Pound for Pound Boxer ever, 19 times. And 2 of Ali's loses was when came out of retirement & he already had Pakiersons disease. And Ali came back & beat his 3 other loses after losing to them.

And when you fight the quality opporsitition & some of the best ever, bit chance you going to lose occosionaly.

  • @ImpressivePilot Rocky Maricano never beat anyone great in their prime. & Ali wasn't a Knock Out Boxer, so that argument doesn't count. Although he did knock a lot of people out.

The facts are no Boxing experts has Rocky Marciano as the greatest Boxer ever, not even in the top 5. They have him around 8 or 9. Muhhammad Ali is consider either the best or the 2nd best Boxer ever by Boxing experts. But more name him the best. & most expert say Ali would of beaten Marciano, which he would of.

  • @ImpressivePilot Their the facts.

And P.S I thought Rocky Marciano was dead, he musn't be because you clearly sucking his Cock.

  • @AFFTL LOL once again: you can't deny the facts. ALI LOST 5!!!! TIMES. the fact he was a heavyweight yet NOT a knockout boxer proves how bad he really was (compared to other great heavyweight boxers). sure, he danced around like a little girl in the ring ( = proof his opponents are weak), but that's not impressive. if he tried that shit with tyson/vitali klitschko/lennox lewis/marciano, he would be even more brain damaged now. believing ali is better than marciano = NOT a fact/=wishful thinking.

  • @ImpressivePilot Ohh ok. That's facts are Rocky Marciano was never fought any good, that's a Fact. Muhhammad Ali had 56 wins with 37 knocks out, he knocked more than 3/4 of his opponents out. That makes him a Knock Out Boxer, so that's proven wrong

Your talking Trash, according to history his opponents where the best Boxers of all time. Was George Foreman weak, he knocked him out. Sonny Liston. Joe Frazier, Earine Shavers, Cleaveland Williams, Floydd Patterson. The list goes on. Your a idiot

  • @ImpressivePilot Ali would smashed all those guys. The facts are nearly every Boxing expert in the World has Muhammad Ali as the best Boxer of all time. & nearly everyone in the world has him as the Best Boxer of all time. And ''Every'' Boxing expert in the World doesn't have Rocky Marciano anywhere near number 1. & nearly everyone around the world he'd be luck to make to top 10. Their the Facts, you can't deny that.

Write back again, I don't care, you talk Trash.

  • @AFFTL HAHA how am i supposed to take you seriously?

you wrote: "& Ali wasn't a Knock Out Boxer"

then you wrote: "Muhhammad Ali had 56 wins with 37 knocks out... That makes him a Knock Out Boxer"

ali: 61 fights/37 knockouts --> even some lightweight boxers have a better ko ratio!

    vitali klitschko: 46 fights/40!!! knockouts

    marciano: 49 fights/43!!!! knockouts

    EPIC FAIL.

most of ali's opponents were weak. the few who weren't weak DEFEATED him. that says it all.

    knockout

  • @AFFTL Marciano was the best kid, get your head out your ass

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian The best, yeah and the sky is Pink.

  • @AFFTL Only during an Aurora

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian Marciano never fought anyone great, in their prime. No boxing expert in the world has him anywhere near number 1. Top to yes but not number 1.

Muhammad Ali beat a lot of the best, & hardest punchers of all time, including the hardest. Nearly every Boxing expert in the World has him number 1, with only a few number 2. He was better way better than Rocky Marciano & would of beat him.

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian Top 10 yes.

  • @AFFTL Marciano would of knocked Ali out in the 4th round

  • @MrSouthphillyitalian Yeah, and the Sky is green.

  • @AFFTL Once again, only during an Aurora

  • Dempsey wouldn't even be a heavyweight now aday's. He barely went over 190lbs sometimes. Dempsey was good but He would piss himself fighting some of these 6-7 guys. Also at light heavy roy jones jr would have beaten him in probably 4 rounds. Evander holyfiled would probably have made him retire after getting hurt for 9 rounds. haha I hate how people don't give marciano his credit the guy punched like a super heavyweight in a small frame. He didn't have to land flush it hurt no matter what

  • If they could pump holyfield up they could do the same to rocky/dempsey no matter how big the heavyweights are today are their hearts as big as rockys/jacks?

  • @ACslookin You can't compare different era's, the science of Boxing has gotten better over the years. But the fighters of today are learning the moves of the fighters of yesterday invented. So you can't compare era's.

  • Best boxer ever Mr Marciano.

  • @Redux35 LOL Lmao! Ali and George Forman to name a view would have DESTROYED "Mr Marciano" with ease. Best boxer? Are you really serious? What about Tyson who at the same height was twice as fast, more elusive, and had better defense? Best boxer? lol

  • @b7r7u7c7e Fucking shit, you can't even write an own honest opinion on these boxing videos anymore on YouTube until there's a smartass always talking about TYSON OR ALI, jesus christ.

  • @Redux35 Relax and take a chill pill. Yes this is youtube were....ready....people make all types of comment off videos and peoples comments. This might shock you but when it comes to boxing videos your always going to have people bring boxers up thats not part of the topic. This happens in living rooms, at hotels, at bars, and hair shops. Thats what makes it great. You do however have people like you that get butt hurt from somebody not agreeing on how wonderful and great there fighter is! lol

  • @b7r7u7c7e Your compliment was sufficient.

  • @Redux35 I will say this if Dempsey had the up to date training they had in the 70's and 80's...or if he was a fighter in the Ali or Tyson era with access to all the modern training and nutrition then he would be the top 2 heavyweight.

  • ... he kicked joe louis' ass...

  • marciano was the best ever. he wouldve ko'd ali. marciano was undefeated. ali had many loses. marciano wouldve taken ali's punches, worked his way inside and opened up like a son of a bitch on that draft dodger.

  • @dafuksup yea agreed but muhammed was like 4 feet taller

  • @LolableTV what? marciano was 5'11 and ali was 6'3......how the fuck was that 4 feet?? more like 4 inches. and yeah, i stand by my original comment, marciano wouldve fought his way inside and opened up like a son of a bitch on that draft dodger.

  • Have some respect and spell the mans name correctly. This is not a spell check but more of a knowledge issue.

  • "Joe Lewis was 137 years old!!"

  • Who else came here because of the barbershop conversation in "Coming to America" movie?

  • @cpaignforeva2010 Joe did NOT dominate the fight with Marciano. Take a look. It's on U Tube

  • @cpaignforeva2010 Liston would do ok for about 8 rounds and then he'd tire. Rocky never got tired, and would break Sonny's ribs. Liston would quit. Hey Ali could hit, but not as hard as etc

  • @skaha77 NEVER! Liston went the distance a few times, showing he could box and had stamina, and never lost in his prime. Liston had his jaw broken and didn't quit, what is this rubbish? Liston hit as hard as Foreman, but was better. Liston beats Marciano like Foreman beat Frazier. Liston slugged it out with hard hitters, EASY.

  • @carmodifire I think that was a guy named Marty Marshall broke Liston's Jaw. Yeah, he could go 15.. but he QUIT against Ali. Not once, but twice. (and I made money both times)

  • @skaha77 But Liston's life was messed up. Those bouts are exceptions, people make it the rule. Ali was the first to knock down Liston. And Liston had 2 slugfests with Williams. And Liston didn't train much, hardly active as his reign as HW champ. And a lot of people fought Marciano who didn't break ribs. Marciano said that if he fought Liston, he would have to work on his defense...

  • @carmodifire You are right about Liston and not training, also about Ali being the first but I STILL say that punch didn't have a lot on it. Seen it over 1000 times. (maybe only 990) Rocky had a granite chin. Rocky lands that right hand and it's lights out. Liston hit very hard.. imo harder than the idolized Tyson. Sad that Liston was in with a sleazy crowd. He quit in both fights, imo

  • @skaha77 Yeah. Liston had a great chin, and I do think that he quit both, although he did try to win the first time. I think that Liston had an even better chin than Marciano. If you don't count the Ali fights, Liston only got KO'd once in his forties, and I think it would be the only time he would get knocked down. Marciano got knocked down by Moore and Walcott (no shame in that) but I think if they could do it, Liston could. Ezzard Charles lasted 15 with Marciano, so Liston could too.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 cont'd. Hardest hitter ever, if not Joe Louis might be Ernie Shavers. I put Rocky at 3rd.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 I said Norton, meant Frazier. I got namest mixed up. (It's an over the hill age thingy.) Rocky was 187 to 192 and yes, size isn't the final determining factor.. in punching power. Joe Louis probably the hardest hitter ever. He fought at 200-203. ALI said (TO ME, in '72) that Frazier didn't hit as hard as Rocky. He'd know. Moore wasn't old until he was like 45. Like Chris Chelios and Gordy Howe in Hockey. Their legs lasted forever

  • @cpaignforeva2010 so who did Ali fight that was young and real tough? Floyyd Patterson? Ernie Terrell? Cleveland Williams? Zora Folley? Ok Chuvalo. Norton decked Ali in thei rfight. He hit hard too but.. You really think Ken Norton hit like Rocky? He didn't. Liston was a quitter... anyhow, this silly debate just goes around and around and etc. Waste of time

  • @cpaignforeva2010 cont'd again: 'Don't want to think about that one. He hit so hard. So hard. He was scary.' Ali wouldn't trash talk about Rocky out of sheer respect. Sure had fun razzing George, though. both trained at the North Shore Eagles Gym in North Van for their fight. I don't know why I am wasting time talkin to to you, b/c you are an obnoxous little twerp. Others might like this, though

  • @cpaignforeva2010 cont'd:

Chuvalo, with the concrete chin wouldn't have beaten Rocky.. would have gone 15, just like Ali. Floyyd Pattersn, good boxer w glass jaw. Big deal.. Rocky would have destroyed him. So just who did ALI fight that was young? Oh yeah, Joe Frazier. Knocked Ali down, thumped him. He didn't hit near as hard as Marciano though. I watched them both train in Vancouver. Know what Ali said about Rocky?

    cont'd

  • @cpaignforeva2010 First of all it is spelt Louis. Secondly ali bea Liston when Sonny was like 38, and in their second fight, Sonny looked like he was at least fifty. Who else then? Ok Ernie Terrell.. good size, but an average boxer, big Cleveland Williams had him sweating, Archie Moore was 46 yrs old when he fought Ali, but that was before Ali had tht title. Moore gave him a good go. lasted 3 rounds longer than he did against Rocky.

  • @cpaignforeva2010 I didn't say rocky accomplished more than Joe Loiis. The Real Joe Louis was the greatest HW of all time, holding the title for 13 years. As for me being stupid.\. Well you are a know it all, so I am unable to hold an intelligent boxing discussion with you. So is any other ex boxer who lived in both eras. G'night, punk

  • @cpaignforeva2010 You have no clue what you are talking about re: marciano and 'true warriors.' Maybe you listen to too much rap or something. Rocky fought everyone and anyone, and Jones Jr wouldn't have made it past round 3 against Rock

  • @cpaignforeva2010 yes I do, Rocky beat down every opponent that came in his way, he was never legitimately even dropped, he slipped and got but on the canvas for 1-2 seconds at most in his career, he had enough power to lift a 1ton stone brick off the ground 1 foot, he was the essence of power and fearlessness, that's why he was the best there ever was.

  • @67Sman Archie Moore definitely knocked Marciano down in their fight. Good solid punch. Moore was a small HW who was fast and could hit. but at 42 was not going to go the disatance with Rocky. Most under rated fighter of all time was Archie

  • There were guys who could hit as hard, Shavers maybe and a 30 y.o. Joe Louis, but the knockout artists are them who can LAND them. Hit the bag is one thing but knockouts is timing timing and timing. Rock's Rt X 1000 ft lbs. Lots of guys in the area of 850 to 1100, but Rocky landed them. T K-do kick once measured 1700 ft lbs. The guy was about 180 and 6 ft w sneakers on. but could he land it? U take him on first, then let me know. When I was 165 my rt x measured at 600 + I was 38 yr old :p True

  • @skaha77 that's a different type of test you are talking about, you are talking about the psi test, compared to the totally different test that they gave Rocky, he probably would have been closer to 2000 on the psi test.

  • @67Sman I dunno how they measured that one. Rocky would have to be more than 1000. I'd say 1150 to 1200. What makes the knockout artist is his ability to time the punch and connect it. eg Hit a guy 'coming in' down he goes, etc. It's timing as much as technique. Some can be taught, but come guys can hit, some just can't.

  • Louis in his prime would have killed Marciano in 6 rounds. Joe Louis was the world heavy weight champion for 12 years!! No one will ever beat that record.

  • @khmoney2021 Joe would have beaten him... but the fight would have gone the distance.

  • @Twoforrune what ? i know Ali and Tyson wtf ?

  • Duno why you yanks are so proud of Marciano, he's an immigrant. He's probably the person your stupid siblings kick out of the country you guys are occupying.

  • @spankysteez

marciano was born in Massachusetts USA you idiot so he wasnt an immigrant. plus america is full of the off spring of immigrants just like every other nation on earth.

  • @spankysteez - Oy, m8... we're all immigrants at some point ya bloody bastard.

  • WHO IS JOE LEWIS?

  • Hahahahaa

    Joe Lewis and Lennox Louis.

Dislectic kid uploaded this video, its ok.

  • i always say the best boxer is a one who is undefeated because it means his style cannot be breached and his skills are more superior,,the second a fighter loses and is not undefeated,,then everyone knows were the weakness in that fighter is........ROCKY THE GREATEST...........

  • holy shit @ :20

  • its louis

  • Also it should be pointed out that Marciano didn't even begin his heavyweight career till he was almost 30 past his prime, and had already undergone several hand surgeries.

  • @marcxopoco like the standard internet douche you don't seem to like when peoples opinions differs from you own if you doubt history I invite you to listen audio-extra's on the Ali-Marciano Superfight disk where Louis admits he honestly doesn't think he could beat Marciano at any point in his life. Eastsideboxing has a transcript of the interview also under their forums. That being said Marcxpoco being a douchebag is a learned trait with practice even you can unlearn it.

  • @papasmurfberrry For a lot of Ali's career Joe Louis didn't like Muhammad Ali. And always used to say he & fighters from his era could of beat Ali. He was biased. I think Muhammad Ali would of beaten Maricano. He beat a lot of fighters who hit harder than Marciano & a lot of fighters around his skill level. He would of beaten him on points or knocked him out in round 9 or 10.

  • Lewis was past his prime at this time...

  • Joe Louis should never have fought him , It was the fans that wanted this fight , He was 10 years passed it , Joe would have eaten Rocky in his prime !!!

  • @Oddjob1177 I'm sure that's what alot of fans would like to believe but that is simply bull shit. Joe could have fought the Rock at any point in his career and would have still got knocked out.

  • damm lewis just collapsed

  • My god, i love how the ref was like "GET OUT OF THE WAY" As if he needed to do anymore.

  • joe louis was old washed up here

  • IT'S LOUIS...shit, i mean i don't mind the title but all the damn comments are spellin the champs name wrong too.

    Joe Louis Barrow..

    get it right.

  • HE JUST GOT KNOCKED THE FUCK OUT!!!

  • Rocky wouldn't have kept up

  • i was talkin to rockys brother in the currock pub in carlisle on monday

  • The comments on this thread take the cake for the most clueless I have seen on Youtube.

And the poster of the thread can't even spell the fighter's names right.

    Retards night out, huh?

  • Marciano did to Joe louis what Joe did to Braddock in 1937

  • Marchiano cried after that like i know because joe was his rolemodel!

  • marciano is lefthanded?

  • Prime LOUIS not Lewis would KO Marciano

  • @EvanderHolyfield7 "Prime" is not always the advantage. Foreman won back his title when he was over the hill. maybe Louis just should have trained harder. He still would have folded after that punch.

  • @EvanderHolyfield7 I like Joe Louis because he was a great champ and a good guy. - "After Joe Louis lost to Marciano he stated, "Nobody can beat this kid." "

  • 15 seconds into the clip........... Left uppercut and as soon as the fist comes up he parries the left uppercut counter and counters back with a big right. He closes the range and in fights with devastating punching power and leaves his opponent completely unconscious. Marciano was a beast.

  • Prime Joe mops the floor with Rocky, in my opinion.

  • Rocky Balboa was patterned after three fighters:

    Marciano, Frazier and Chuck Wepner.

  • unless im mistaken Rocky beat Louis twice

  • You are definitely mistaken.

  • maybe the history of rocky balboa is inspirated in marciano..

  • ye rocky movies were inspired by him

    mostly

    his name marciano was mention

and rocky kept a poster in his house (u can see in rocky I i think)

  • =O interesting..

  • Comment removed

  • Sorry dreamer but Rocky Marciano did not keep a poster in his house of the movie because at the time of its release he had been dead eight years.

  • @rawcer no im talking about rocky balboa lol

in the first movie theres a poster of marciano :]

and also mickey mention marciano too

  • @Urdead264 he also mentions the Dempsey/Firpo fight where Firpo knocked Dempsey through the ropes.

  • @gunner1024 actually chuck wepner is balboas origin

  • RM - Greatest fighter of boxing

  • If Joe Louis was in his prime during this fight the outcome of the match would have been different..by different I mean Joe Louis would have KO'D Marciano.

  • I don't remember a Joe Lewis ever fighting however Joe Louis was a great boxer, not the best but great...........................Jack Johnson was the best

  • Thats the thing too you know about Marciano which is so great! Louis and Walcott were not bums, they were great fighters themselves yet Marciano probably has the two best knockouts in history to his credit!

This coming from a man who was only 5'10 and underweight compared to what he fought. He had to have amazing strength and determination to stand toe to toe with far heavier men and still push them back and keep the pressure on!

He's my hero, i wish i met him!

  • Rocky the GREAT!

Come on, black or white, you got admit, that's is one awesome KO!

Best combo upercut, bodyshots, left, right you'll ever see!

I give big credit to Louis as well, he wasn't trying to hold on like the fags these days would when they are getting there arse beat. Was still trying to give as good as he took! Got a lot of respect for that!

Boxers these days are weak as piss when you look at the boxers of 50 years go at it. These MEN above are warriors.

  • agree louis in his prime would beat marciano if u watch the whole fight it was still a close bout and louis was old and people that compare marciano to ali thats just a joke marciano would think he was surounded and im italian 2 lol

  • @jcag08 More like Marciano would think he was chasing a butterfly. Ali would have "fought" the Rock the same way he fought Foreman. Running and playing 'rope-a-dope'. Cheap fighting, only a technical win.

  • Marciano would have wiped up the ring with Ali.

  • @marcxopoco Every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

  • @marcxopoco bullcrap! Ali would've danced around him like running in circles.. and jabbed the guy and jab and jab and jab and jab and jab, etc. He wouldn't have kept up

  • Comment removed

  • @marcxopoco The butterfly comment was a reference to Ali supposedly "floating like a butterfly" which means he runs all around instead of fighting toe to toe. He was not a brawler, therefore I have no interest in him as a fighter, which is why I am watching Marciano vids. I see no champion qualities in Ali.

  • @wkLeoTrooper, then i didn't understand your earlier post.

    We are in agreement.

Ali would have had to run for his life to survive as far as he might against Marciano.

Ali lacked the punching power to bother Marciano.

    Result--no contest.

  • How anyone can use this fight to say Rocky was better than Joe is laughable.

Joe was 38 people! Not today's 38 either....the old school, been in 60 tough fights, fighting for 25 years 38....he was very worn out.

Joe in is prime toys with Rocky.

  • I always find these type of comments funny, being that Joe himself said he could not have defeated Rocky even in his prime. Marciano was a swarmer on of the first definitely one of the greatest swarmers and Louis said he was never able to handle that style of fighting.

This does not diminish the greatness of either fighter, and it really is unfair to say either was better then the other, but Rocky's style of fighting was Louis's Kryptonite.

  • Louis never said that....and a younger Louis would dominate Rocky's plodding, hands down, slugger style....

  • hands down slugger style? LOL bottom line louis took the fight and held his own for 12 rounds before getting punched through the ropes. LOUIS < ROCKY

  • @papasmurfberrry Actually I think part of what makes a fighter great is sportsmanship. Most fighters nowadays would not admit they were beat as Louis did. Nowadays there is always an excuse. Thumb in the eye, blah blah. Most of the guys in Marciano's and Louis' day were good sportsmen.

  • @papasmurfberrry makes up fiction. Standard procedure for youtube retards.

  • Hi, I do not think Louis would toy with marciano, but he would certainly beat him with a clear decisiuon or KO him in the later rounds. I do not think too many people would base this fight on who was better in the assumption they were not biased.

  • #1-Marciano, 2-Ali, 3-Lewis, 4-Dempsey,

    5-J.Johnson, 6-Tunney, 7-E.Charles,

    8-Foreman, 9-Frazier, 10-Holmes

  • Joe Louis was one of the best heavyweights EVER Marciano massacred him even though he was past his prime he was still better than Ali ever was.... Rocky would fuckin knock Ali's nigger head right off his neck

  • Rockys ko's were damn scary.

  • good thing there is youtube,. i only heard from people that this marciano was great,.. i did'nt realize that he was over qualified for great!!

  • he was great

except that joe louis was already older in this fight

in louis's prime he would knock out marciano within the first 5 rounds

i saw this thing even marciano admitted that Louis would beaten him when he were younger

  • won 49 (KO 43) + lost 0

  • louis can beat marciano in his prime...

  • WOW...

  • Rocky didn`t box, every punch was a sledge hammer...amen.

  • Poor old Joe...one too many fights...he was the greatest heavey weight of all time...even better than Ali.

  • @SPOOKSTR not beter than Sugar Ray Robinson......

  • @bigD2387

Sugar Ray was in a class of his own...but i dont think he fought Heavyweight.

  • @bigD2387 yeah but still, he aint the greatest heavyweight of all time cause he wasnt a heavyweight, but he is definantley the greatest pound for pound fighter of all time.

  • He beat Joe Louis's ass! (Eddie Murphy - Coming to America)

    watch?v=rdjblkRkoPU&feature=related

  • Joe Louis was something like 137 years old, partied away most of his timing and reflects by then. 1951 Joe Louis wasn't 1937 Joe Louis by long shot or better put, a perfectly timed short sledge hammer counter punch.

  • rocky a real legend....how many fights did he have...

  • I think it was 49, but he remained undefeated 49-0

  • @TML1988UK He had five defeats as an amateur, but never as a pro.

  • @TML1988UK 49-0 with 45 knockouts. and the name is Joe LOUIS. not Lewis ;) Rocky didn't throw a left jab. Everything he threw was designed to knock you out. Hard to hit, too.

  • they're some fuckin huuuge shots gettin thrown by Marciano

  • Shows how Tough lewis was as well as how hard Marciano could throw though eh, a right slug fest it is

  • @TML1988UK if you would know a little bit of boxing would you know that his name is Joe Louis Barrow not Joe Lewis Barrow :/

  • @TML1988UK and i bet you called muhammad ali mohammed ali

  • Its hard to see such a good guy like joe go down like that but thats what this sport is all about Rocky was a Beast lol ONLY UNDEFEATED HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHTER

  • @ Lacostedon yeah i like both of those fighters two absolute legends, even though Lewis got knocked down though look at the bombs Rocky had to throw to get him there, it shows how hard you had to work to beat the man

  • @T-Little lol

yea bro no doubt about it those wer some bombs

  • @LacosteDon

joe calzaghe retired undefeated also in the heavyweight division but joe only won 46 while rocky won 49.

  • @Glaswegianmark calzaghe wasnt heavyweight

  • @TheWiganguy

yeah sorry forgot lol. he was super middleweight then moved to light heavyweight. all this weight divisions sometimes gets confusing

  • @LacosteDon only undifeated haevyweight Champion.

  • is this the one they say is the best ko ever?

  • I'm not sure danners mate LOL i wouldn't be suprised it is a pretty damned good KO

  • yh and its a proper ko like he is reli knocked out

  • No....that's Rocky's KO of Walcott for the title. Look it up.

  • Comon man, this is boxing history. The moment Marciano punches Louis trough the ropes. Never forget this know, this was Marciano-Louis.

  • I realize this video is Marciano-Louis (if you're trying to suggest that I didn't know that). I was responding to danners question, re: whether this was the KO known by many to be the "best KO ever".

Rocky's KO of Walcott was more impressive, and more meaningful. Rocky's KO of Louis meant about as much as Holmes stopping Ali, or Tyson stopping Holmes, or Kevin McBride stopping Tyson.....means nothing, as the losers in each match up were so far BEYOND shot.....

  • Ok, sorry. I agree with you on that.

  • @danners2003 Check out Marciano's killer one punch KO on Joe Walcott. After Walcott beat the shit out of him in previous rounds.
