For Your Information, the chanting is from the SHIVA RUDRAM and is part of the original Vedas, singing the praise of Lord Shiva, and the Yogi is performing one of the most difficult ASANA. Patanjali is considered the Father of All Yoga execises. It is better if you could research through Google or Wikipedia, before passing such low-down remarks. I think verbal hymns and chants have their own spiritual powers. Be it just music or lyrical sounds, they all have inherent significance. A musical sound in for a special tribe or group could have thousand significance as opposed to a stranger who is unfamiliar with that language/culture. Although i agree with you that the verbal chants sounds annoying however their meaning is takes different forms in yog asanas!
