  • The song is fantastic, actually. Ukraine is my favorite female country... and I do like either America/Ukraine or Canada/Ukraine.

  • Poor Ukraine. Such a sweet girl stuck in a family of psychos. She needs to marry Canada and move away from them QUICK! Ha ha, just kidding, but Ukraine and Canada would be a good pair.

  • I liked all the pictures you used. The female countries in Hetalia totally deserve more love! :)

And there is something about the song that's just... very hypnotic.

  • Ukrainian is pretty.

  • Picture in national costume (2:33) is awsome!

  • I really like this song!~

  • 2:15 the photo with a flower was a bit sad :/

  • do not try to put Ukraine with america, the only friends that Ukraine must have are Belarus and Russia ^___^

  • America stop stealing Ukraine from Canada!

  • So many pairings it's mind boggling!

  • @Alsarnia Everybody wants her.

  • ця пісня викликає у мене посмішку

  • This is an awesome song! Thanks SOOOO MUCH 'SkadiPirate', my love of international songs only grows because of you!

  • I heard that ukraine is the country of wheat

  • Ukraine in Hetalia looks exactly like my ukranian friend in real life

  • Ukrainian likes than Russian ABC!

  • My friend is part Ukraine. Holy shit. That explains a lot....

  • TT^TT can't find proper lyrics.... Why don't you post them in the description??

  • THEM ENORMOUS... TRACKS OF LAND.

  • А хіба не Ольга?

  • after hearing this song i just want to go to the ukraine

    but shes hot either way

  • this video got me into hetalia thanks you :DDD

  • She looks like APH Russia but with tits!

  • @r3dst4r9O Tha'fucq?? No she doesn't ene

  • @IIISTU Yes she does. The guy who created Hetalia sucks at drawing women, they all look to masculine.

  • @r3dst4r9O I'll give you that one, the fan art makes her seem more feminine though, but the "looks like Russia with tits" comment is inncorrect.

  • @r3dst4r9O How does she look like Rossiya? I can understand if you were talking about her male counterpart: he looks almost exactly like Russia. But Ukraine herself doesn't.

  • BABY RUSSIA!!!!!!!! DAWWWWWWW

  • @vzooper This is a Ukrainian song, the video shows a girl Ukrainian.

Russia here at all to do with it.

  • @RamsesEmos look @ 0:43 and see Belarus is holding baby russia.

  • i love ukraine. it seems like she can be paired up with anyone and still be sexy and cute~

  • i love this song! i can actually sing along to the chorus WITHOUT looking at the lyrics! awesome job! keep it up!

  • I would have added one of Ruslana's songs xD

  • Uhm, am I the only one thinking "WTF" at 1:03 ?

  • @mikeazard456lol no, no you weren't

  • Um..ok. I know the song name is in the vid..but it would /really/ help if you typed it out for those of us who can't type with those characters. I for one would love to be able to search for it so I can buy it, but I can't, if I cant type the name, or know its translation. Please and thank you~

  • @ChibiVKarin It's "Як у нас на Україні" by "Катя Бужинская" (Katya Buzhynskaya...it's the same as Kateryna Buzhynska (I think), just a different transliteration...kinda :'])

If you can't type the Cyrillic letters, enter the transliteration in YouTube...usually you will find the songs/videos you're looking for because a lot of them have not only the "Original" title, but also the transliteration to it ;]

(Either in the title or the description) And then just copy+paste :3

    Hope that helped ^^

  • @SkadiPirate Thanks!=^‿‿^= I can see them, just not type them~(I can only type in Japanese>~>) And now that you've replied, anyone else who needs/wants it can copy from here! and it'll be at the top of the page~ thankies~♥

  • I luv this vid!

  • @prussiaxprussia I completely agree with you! Foreign music is wonderful

  • @werefoxgirlie You will be so jealous of my friend from ukraine. She speaks fluent english, russian and ukrainian and she just got back from seeing her family there. I know I am XD

  • I'll be Ukraine if I can get my sis to be Belarus and our friend to be Russia XD ( plkz Like it so I can say the internet needs them to do as I say)

  • *mom walks into room* More Lithuanian music?

    me: Nope,it's Ukrainian ^^

mom: Don't you listen to Canadian music anymore?

me:Sure I do! *plays Canadian Please*

    mom:*rolls eyes and walks away*

me:I'm kidding! *puts on some Bryan Adams* Mom? Hey come back!

Thanks SkadiPirate! You sparked my intrest in internationl music :) and now my mom is convinced that I'm planning to move to Lithuania or Denmark because I won't stop playing InCulto and Nephew >.>

  • @PrussiaXPrussia I agreed with you! Hetalia and specifically, fans like SkadiPirate introduced me to music from places I could barely name before, and to their beautiful languages. It's too bad I can't learn them all.

  • @TheArtifaz SkadiPirate and Hetalia really opened my eyes, or should I say my ears, to foreign music. I really owe her a lot. I found 3/4 of my favorite bands thanks to her :)

  • Why does hetalia make practically all the Europeans blue-eyed blonde-haired. It's not really that common a trait, lol. Scandinavians I can understand, but I was born in Ukraine, and most of us have dark hair - lots like me have blue eyes, but light hair is more a country thing, not the more densely populated urban population. It's not the norm by any means.

  • @Hontaish Because it's a stereotype~ 8D~

  • @Hontaish I agree. I'm also from ukraine and I think it's hilarious how they make her blond

  • @Hontaish Back in old Scandinavia, it was ideal to have blond hair and blue eyes even if people didn't. It's also very cute. :3

And it's not just Europe, American's are typically blond hair, blue eyes. :/ Just about everybody I know has brown hair. Though the blue eyes are pretty common.

  • @Hontaish im ukranian and i have blonde hair and blue eyes :D

  • @Hontaish in the anime her hair isn't blonde though (i don't know why it appears blonde everywhere). it's like 'russiye' hair, like ash coloured which is perfect stereotype for that area as it a common trait with eastern euro countries.

  • @Hontaish I agree with you Im Ukrainian and i have dark brown hair and blue eyes~

  • Comment removed

  • @Hontaish I'm Ukrainian and all my family members from both sides have blonde hair and blue eyes or green eyes. The darkest is probably light golden brown( in my family), it really depends on what part of Ukraine you are from. The first eastern Slavic people

( Ukraine Russia Belarus) in general had very light features.

  • @Hontaish Im Ukrainian and my fthers side of the family has blond hair and my mothers side has ginger or red hair is there problem with that Im burnet?

  • Ня ^_^

  • russian is the same as ukranian correct? i cant tell the difference personally

  • @radroach44 No, it's not; but it's similar :]

  • @SkadiPirate

would it be sort of like the difference between spanish from spain and spanish from, say... mexico?

  • @LukaTunaLuvr03

Dude, well, its called Ukrainian because its a different language. My native language is Ukrainian, but I well understand Polish, Belarusian, Russian and other slavic, but I find it difficult to switch to one of these languages, I prefer Ukrainian. Just Slavic languagesare all similar. But the paradox is that russians (the majority) dont understand Ukrainian, except that a couple of similar words.

    Im Ukrainian n live there!

  • @Mankutaify

    mmmm.....k?

I dont get it lol but thanks for trying to explain... not many people would try...

  • @LukaTunaLuvr03 Uhmm, what Mankutaify is basically saying....Ukrainian is an own language. It is similar to Russian, but not the same. It's like...Swedish and Norwegian, they're are similar, but still different languages.

  • Цікаво, тут є хоча б одна людина, що вміє розмовляти українською?

  • @TrueKathrynMerteul

    Так! я знаю небагато. (:

  • @ArtIsABang432 чому небагато? здебільшого українською спілкуються спілкуються лише українці, майже ніхто з іноземців її не вивчає

  • @TrueKathrynMerteul

    є тут українці, є

    куди ж ми подінемось))

  • Rule 34 awaaaaayyyyyyy!!!!!

  • @seagoonproductions Rule 34? (do I wanta know?)

  • 3:42 Ukraine and Belarus are Russia's angels!! XD

  • Ukraine's my favorite character!! :3

  • I noticed an error in the transliteration of the chorus. In your transliteration, the word "Всі" is romanized as "Psi" when the actual transliteration is "Vsi"

  • I love this video~

  • I want to try cosplaying as Ukraine. I just need a wig and I'm good to go

  • @andrielisilien Me to. I might cosplay as Ukraine too. I (dont know how to spell) real short hair, big boobs and am about her height, Im too tall for my age and have too big brest

  • Aw man I love Ukraine <3

When I was little I had an adorable Ukrainian friend who ironically was called Natalia. xD

  • ya know, ukraine is famous for its beautiful women ;D

  • @kikiza123 Yar.

My best friend works for immigration Canada. Every dossier has pictures. He says that of the thousands of files he goes through, that in his humble opinion, Ukranian women are rarely anything but the most beautiful.

  • @kikiza123 ikr? On one show (idk which one idc either XD) the cop said "It's not the first time a Ukranian girl got into organized crime." and I thought "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! RUSSIA, LEAVE UKRAINE ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" When people talk about countries, I got nosebleeds

When I hear the word "global" I think "social" Maps make me feel like Im at a party.

Is it possible I am phycological and/or physically addicted to hetalia?!?

  • @reneedooma do not despair! you are not alone! :D

  • Comment removed

  • @kikiza123 what did i say? D:

  • 0:51

Where did you get that picture?

  • @LoverGirl0050 You could try zerochan or e-shuushuu :]

  • I like the way the language sounds :3

  • Ukraine Land of Busty women XD Russia approves ^J^

  • I do not know Ukranian, but i understand a few words...Russian is quite similar.

  • @ChimeraTheChimera Yeah, but I cannot load it onto my iPod for when I have no wifi, now can I?

  • Can someone tell me where to download this without viruses? I have been looking everywhere, and I can't find it. I even turned to random ukranian music to satisfy me, but nothing is as great as this!

  • @MalonTheFarmGirl Try using Listen to YouTube, it's what I use. Never had a virus~

  • I think I'm in love with her...

    so Goodby, Taiwan\(^o^)/

  • YEAH TO MY UKRAINIAN ROOTS!!! its wat gave me my 36Ds *depression* TT-TT

  • @TobiTheNinjaKitten Way to glue attention to yourself. Was there really any point in your comment? Attention whore.

  • @SukineKira not really. :3 u dont have to read a comment if you dont like it...

  • anyon ewish THIS was Ukraine's english voice?

  • @lionteeths Totally agreed! :'D

  • ヘタリアは余り知らないけど、これ何か可愛いすぎ\(^o^)/

  • I love this video! Soo well made! and quite an awesome song, Btw! Also I'm learning it now! i've watched it that much XD

  • @MoonDanceCosplay Really? Oh cool. You know if you learn Ukrainian you can understand Russian and Belarussian too. The languages are similar (I'm Belarussian and I can understand this)

  • @Alicetimetable That's soooo cool! I wish my highschool would offer Ukrainian or Belarussian!

Instead I'm in French. And soon to be German. And possible Arabic.

  • @MoonDanceCosplay

Oh cool! I speak Arabic too. And next year I'd like to learn French (Oh honhon)

Hetalis just makes you want to learn every language, doesn't it?

  • @Alicetimetable That's so awesome! I really want to learn Italian too since my family is Italian. That's why I can cosplay n. Italy pretty well XD(i do cosplay him)

It does! XD That's why I love it.

  • @MoonDanceCosplay Oh Awesome-I mean Prussia!

I've cosplayed as Belarus a few times. ^^

Yeah. :) Hetalia really is so amazing. XD

  • @Alicetimetable It's the reason why I wanna be a translater :DD

  • @FearTheDemonicBunny Oh cool. :D

Same here, though I'd rather be an artist

  • @FearTheDemonicBunny Oh! I just found the difference between Ukrainian and Russian, there really is no difference. Only in pronounceaition. (Instead of saying "geh" sound in Ukrainian it's "heh" sound. My parents have some freinds from Ukraine. So yeah. :D Does this help?)

  • @Alicetimetable A bit~ Thanks :DD

  • @FearTheDemonicBunny You're welcome. ^^

  • Am I the only one who can hear Ukraine Singing this?? 8D

  • I just realized (after watching this video multiple times) that an Estonia/Ukraine couple might be a little cute. Just a bit.

  • I loved the picture of her holding the Chernobyl Disaster flower....

  • Marry me, @SkadiPirate !!! I love you! Oh my, I love your work! It is great!

  • I raped the repeat button

  • @CreativeGal246 I thought it meant collective, like how kolhozt(sp?) means collective farm.

  • In Hetalia, Ukraine makes me wonder if I should be proud to be Ukrainian or not...

  • @utuber554 You should be very proud :D You will never need breast implants! :DDD

  • The singer has .. a .. rough voice, (I think so XD) which isnt my type, But because of the beat, I actually LIKE this song.

    *favorites*

  • @werefoxgirlie I see! What's ikr?

  • @teleostomi it means "i know, right?" :P

  • @werefoxgirlie kol kol kol, this was the first time I saw kol kol kol as laugh. I found half a year ago that Brazilians laugh like kkkkkkkkkkk! It's interesting how different people laugh differently on text.

  • @werefoxgirlie What do you mean? is it your laugh? <kol kol

  • Why is it there is no great music like this in America? All the songs sound the same! Most are about sex, drugs, or depression. Why can't there be a song like this in America?

  • My grandpa used to be married to a Ukrainian woman called Tatiana.

I didn't watch Hetalia back then so i never noticed until recently....

She looked JUST like Ukraine, even ACTED like Ukraine, hell she even made me feel flat just by being in the same room. (she also made very good food...)

So I have come to this conclusion: MY GRANDPA USED TO BE MARRIED TO UKRAINE!!! O____O

  • Why does American music suck so much compared to this?

  • Wow, that's a beautiful song. It feels very American Idiot to say, but I had no idea Ukraine had such good music.

  • The backround of the picture at 1:30 must be the Treaty of Brest-Litowsk of 1918, where Germany persuaded Russia to agree to an Independet Ukraine.

However the German military planned to use their "new girlfriend" for economical purpose an as a buffer state against the new bolshewist government.

  • I can sing this song.....the entire song...I am only part Ukrainen...

I am proud of myself....and I love this video. <3

  • mp3?

  • Умилилась)))))

  • I'm totally addicted to this song! I started to hum it regularly, by phonetics XD (I don't know one Ukraine word).

I really hope there are not Ukrainians around when I sing it...

  • хм, а ведь это хороший строевой марш

  • Personally, I think she is the kind of character meant for a shonen. This really bugs me but, what is the real genre of this manga? Because on Wikipedia is unknown.

  • @NapalmMan10 The genre of Hetalia is...uhmm...history, comedy, satire...something like that, yep~

  • @SkadiPirate I really meant is this shonen or shojo.

  • @NapalmMan10 I think you can't really put it in such a genre. It's both for me. Girls and boys like to watch it. But I think Hetalia has a big fandom of girls, because of the cute boys~

  • @SkadiPirate But Ukraine evens the playing feild with those her boobs.

  • @SkadiPirate Prussia for example....oh wait...hes not cute....HES HAWT!!

  • @NapalmMan10 Shonen is aimed toward boys and incorporates adventures and kickass battles. Shojo is aimed toward girls and is usually love stories. Hetalia has both along with bits from other categories, so it can't be classified like that.

  • @NapalmMan10 anime authors get to choose which magazine (shonen, shojo) to submit their art to. if im right, hetalia started out as a single strip web comic, and since people liked it so much it continued. so it didnt have an official beginning. and thats why the episodes are 5 minutes long. and so hetalia doesnt go in either category.

  • omg i speak polish and i actually understand what she's sayin without looking at the translations! thats so cool XD!

  • @alelrickun yeah it's like that. I'm Ukrainian and I speak Ukrainian, but I can understand Polish too XD lol.

  • Canada / Ukraine have extremely good relations nowadays. Yes, during the cold war it wasn't so but then again during the cold war there was black and white. Very little shade of grey.

  • 3:15 american and usa relations moder day : :)

  • Що, що бум звуку? Звуки ніби як барабан.

Dude. Google Translate is so much fun.

  • @cherrybabe121 Yeah, but Google Translate is actually not soo~ good, because the translation is not always correct :'D

  • @SkadiPirate That is true.

  • @SkadiPirate If you want to be google translator to translate something, because what usually comes out wrong (Google Translater: German -> English)

    Yeah, looks kinda wrong O_o

  • @SkadiPirate can you please send me the lyrics to this? i know theyre on the video but i have bad eyesight and its off timing .... i cant find them ANYWHERE . can u please :)

  • @cherrybabe121 I used GoogleTranslator on what you wrote (I'm not Ukranian).

    Oh all-things-good-and-holy.

  • @256NatLiz C:

  • Классно
