@qwastic the only non-metal bit I'm guessing is the fall and cracker which wouldn't make a very impressive flame and would likely go out with the first crack. The metal would also conduct the heat so depending on fuel mixture and if you could get the fuel to burn long enough, it would inevitable heat up to the extent of burning your hand.
