If this game doesnt get localizeD, I personally dont blame Namco Bandai. If anything, i would rather put blame on certain westerners who are too interested in shooters and dont appreciate a good JRPG game. Its no wonder if Namco Bandai decided to give up on the western world, considering none of them have bought their games. Regardless of localization, Im still getting the game anyway. For the true Tales fans however, dont lose hope. There is still a chance of Namco Bandai localizing the game.

People just want freaking Naruto, Tekken (But I still love Tekken no matter what!), Dragon Ball, Final Fantasy, and Kingdom Hearts. we all like nice graphics, but c'mon. Wouldn't someone smart prefer the storyline over graphics? No. It doesn't seem like that.

@Animewover300 Good point, their sales have been pretty bad. Although to be honest, Naruto, Dragonball, and Kingdom Hearts dont actually have nice graphics. People want Naruto and Dragon Ball because they are the so-called "best" anime there was. As for Kingdom Hearts, the story isnt too bad, though it is repetitive. As for Final Fantasy, I agree that the series has been lacking since after X. Another thing: Namco Bandai does not own Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts. Square Enix does.

I wish Namco would learn how to properly advertise a game instead of just releasing it, having it do poorly, then wondering why it didn't sell well in the States, its a simple concept: the more of something people see, the more likely a chance they'll look into it and be interested. I'd love for it to be on both the PS3 and Xbox360, Tales of Vesperia was awesome.

Some people just like the feeling of playing a retro game with updated graphics and I'm one of 'em. I want all the latest Tales games, as much as I want the latest WRPGs. I'm one of these gamers that likes every kind of RPGs as long as I can enjoy myself with a good story, interesting characters and bad-ass fights. And the Tales series' fights are awesome. (heck, CC is only in Graces! No TP!) Symphonia Group has Kosuke, Destiny Group has Mutsumi. Combined: Awesomeness. Aren't you tired of FF/KH?

Well if anyone has checked siliconera, you'll see an article about Namco deciding to pull back to localising(?) other games they've released in japan because ever since they started their western games, their sales have been going down and their expectations are hardly met for any of their games so theres a chance that they'll switch back to Tales. I've finally accepted that we won't get any more tales though, it was hard at first but at the end of the day, Japan has trillions of games like this that remain unlocalised, most of which we don't even know about. With talk of sony implementing region locks too, it's time to just accept that this series will now be joining the fold of JPN ONRY, which is a shame but life does go on. With giants like FF going downhill, it seems JRPGs are receding from the western world
