  • What is the name of your wallpaper? thx

  • RIP Compiz with Gnome3

  • I agree with all of it except software-center i need to add packages and use apt-get way to much

  • @jsobers1331 look through his vids

  • Gnome DO

  • You change the size of the "show mouse" effect in compiz! =)

  • i love the snow feature and the snap feature,i cant wait till it snows outside so i can use to make my desktop fell more cozy, great video i favorited;)

  • the snow is awesome

  • is there tiling for linux mint 7

  • I prefer Aero snap over that tiling app. For one, Aero snap allows me to just drag the window to an edge.

  • ubuntu is great what are you talking about? its never crashed on me and way faster than windows

  • I used it for 6 hours and when i dual booted and switched to my windows and tried to goback on i got the Busybox error

  • hmmm, thats weird I installed it a couple times and it always installed fine, but then again I dont use wubi

  • DOS is faster than linux, does that make it better?

  • no, well, even though its "simple" i still find it fun to mess with =D lol

  • @JamesManes no and its not

  • @Eientatsu Exactly. Speed is a stupid argument. Very stupid. So what if linux boots faster, that doesn't make it better.

  • stfu!!

  • Yes, DOS boots in under 3 seconds and runs programs near instant. Its faster than Linux. Also, Linux's API's and ABI's change constantly. Linux is not stable for this very reason.

Free, not a selling point as companies something that "works." Not something thats "free."

  • The reason why it's "free" is because it's made by people who enjoy making it "work"; there is such a thing as a passion for programming. People who have a passion for it obviously will work hard to make it work fine, and it does. Linux isn't perfect, but neither is Mac or Windows.

And so what if DOS boots under 3 seconds? The programs being run are bogged down by Vista/7's excess commit charge regardless, and being torn between piracy or over $2,000 in programs? Duh.

    Windows may be easier

  • Thats the problem, ubuntu with wubi is much more unsable, try the "real" one before you say something.

  • what?

  • Is there tiling for KDE4?

  • sudo aptitude install compiz-fusion-plugins-unsuported

    only give u the grid...

  • my bad only for me , im running the beta witout updates, .......

  • wicked wallpaper

  • this was inspired by metal's video, wasn't it?? hahaha good shit

  • what ratio did u compile this video, it looks cool as if its poping out of the screen, haa, i was surching everywhere for that unsoported plugin. from that WIN7 video...
