I kind of agree with the comments. The puppy will be afraid of baths forever now because of the way you were letting it jump up and slide around and fall over. I have a chihuahua who is not afraid of the bath but only because her first time I was extremely gentle, and put a non-slip mat underneath so that she wouldnt slide around and feel scared.
I think it was great you were teaching your child how to take care of the puppy, don't listen to all the bad comments. I have a pit bull mix dog and wish I could bathe her but she hates water! Plus she is about 3x's stronger then me!

That is horrible!!!! you're supposed to hold him so he doesn't keep slipping and hitting against the tub and then having things fall off the edge and hitting him. Why is the child bathing him at first. Poor puppy, i feel so horrible, this is not the way to do it. He is so scared and they just sit there watching him fall over and over again. Everyone holds the puppy while bathing them. Sad that this poor puppy is stuck with such irresponsible people
that animal abuse you can't treat a dog like that! you see the dog doesn't like baths and his trying to get out and you and you make the dog fall in the tub and you laugh.. poor puppy

BTW, I don't have a problem with the comments you folks leave. It just irks me that so much energy is placed on well-meaning, loving dog parents when there is a much bigger picture, ie.homelessness, child abuse, folks losing their homes, poor folks not having FOOD! Well of course not! I'm not a dog groomer, I'm a dog owner! You know you people kill me when it comes to dogs....don't you know that there are dogs that live outside on their own and survive just fine when they get rained on. You should spend your energy worrying about the mistreatment of people.
