Dear Lord. Worst day ever, yesterday. My mom's 82nd birthday and my brother and little sister never called her. GOD.

and last night? My best friend decided he can't watch me pursue this. Broke his heart, or I'm breaking it every day.

This is my favorite version of this song. I like Dolly by herself, or in duet with Kenny, but the harmony with the other cast members from the movie is fantastic. I rented the movie just for this song.

Today was supposed to be the shittiest christmas ever, but my hubby and I got a suprise! My middle daughter came home for Christmas to be with her mom n dad, INSTEAD of spending it with her older sister, as per court order. I sit here, watching the snow gently fall,& with it, my tears of gratitide fall right along. This was on the radio just a few minutes ago,& I had to hear it again. This song, to me, is the very essence of a Christmas spent alone. Thank u for uploading it. Always been a fave.

Actually Carol Hall wrote this wonderful song...The only songs Dolly wrote for it were "Sneakin' Around" and "I Will Always Love You" (the remake version).
