  • its su-i-ka

  • Somewhere in Tokyo, I don't recall which one.

  • What station was this?

  • SUE EE KA

  • It's not necessary to put it out of a wallet.

Machines recognise Suica inside the wallet.

  • shin-yokohama station?

  • Did you say "Su ku ka" card?

  • I love Suica! what s so great about Suica is you can use it with ALL the railway companies(aprx 20 more companies?? not sure) in Tokyo!! Without Suica I wouldnt be able to reach to Narita Airport from my stay. The railway there is a must to enjoy Tokyo but it s just too complicated, BUT with Suica hehe you can go anywhere with no trouble with tickets! Suica is my friend :)

  • helpful! thx!

  • Thats similar to the Washington DC's SmarTrip card, just much more advanced. lol

  • Yes, as the Suica care can be 'recharged' and used over and over again. Just scan and go thru. Better than the DC Metro card that I use when visiting.

  • Yeah, DC Metro has the same thing. You're talking about the paper farepass. The SmarTrip card is the same thing like the Suica Card. You can Reload it over and over, and just scan and go. I'm saying is that, I heard that in Japan, the food kiosks in the station allows you to use your Suica card instead of actual money, and the amount is deducted from the card.
