you'll never step back as long as you hold up a steel pipes high. the riot police cannot move towards and attack you as long as protesters can fight in an organized manner.. Steel pipes are much bigger threat to the police than Molotov cocktail. In this video, protesters shows a weakness that they just run away when they are attacked by the police and retreat. A RETREAT ORGANIZED IS WAY HARDER AND MORE IMPORTANT THAN ASSAULT.

Due to the excessive use of tear gas during the military rule (1980's), the Police have banned the use of gas during riots.

They usually use fire extinguishers but in thi picture they don't and the translation is more or less swearing and telling the other side to come up (police) or don't come any nearer along with a whole lot of swearing
