Haha. Don't know if he realised it himself but that compressor he put on the drums was doing fuck all. Must have been the placebo effect for him. Have a look. No gain reduction at all on the compressor. Bring the threshold slider down a bit dude! He must have been thinking, "hey this compressor is amazing, it's so transparent that you can't even hear it!".
