i'm presuming that the avr microcontroller is turning the voltages to midi values?? did you have to program it using assembly language or c? also did you build the serial midi board or buy it? thanks, matt.

Hi Matt. In this project the AVR onboard ADC converts a variable DC voltage into the MIDI CC Value. The code for this is written in Assembly language and we use the AVR onboard UART for serial data transmission. The development board used here is the STK500 from ATMEL. If you would like the source code let me know.

The sound is created using Synthedit, it was made to test this controller by the lecturer and students! If you are interested in this sort of stuff you should come and have a look! They have super studios and Electronics labs etc.
