Ehem, actually, to those who are saying 'whatever, it doesn't matter about etiquette or how you use 'em' are wrong. If you're dining in a foreign place, respect their etiquette. It depends on where you are, and in general rude to stab with them. In Korea you have different etiquette; no lifting the bowl, and don't eat every SINGLE piece of rice. It means they need to get you more, basically. :]

well, i personally think chopsticks are a bit more useful than both a fork or a spoon. A chopstick grabs, while a fork stabs, and a spoon lifts. I find grabbing things alot more easier than both lifting and stabbing.

@ornitorrinco01 Because people used to be poor, not everyone could afford cutlery back in the day. Southeastern Asians used to eat with their hands, so Chopsticks were a logical solution. People could easily eat with forks nowadays, but It's part of the culture now since It's been like that for thousands of years. Whatever suits you best man, everyone can eat with whatever they want to eat with. I think everything is fine as long as none of us have to eat with our bare hands again.
