They now have these horrible new wigs which are like flat straight hair, i think there gross. I love the thing curly wigs :D

the curls r wigs and they r a traditionnel thing we do. i think it is also to make us look like we r jumping higher.

i think irish dancing is really cool, but out of curiosity...why do they have such big, curly hair..I was in Philly for the world championships a few weeks ago and i saw all these girls with really big hair...why is that?

The curls are usually wigs. They wear them because they have to for most competitions... curly hair is believed to be "traditional" Irish hair!
