There's a convention called Tokyo in Tulsa that will be coming up July 15th-ish. It's one of the few (if not only) opportunity us Okies get to geek out. I've gone 2 years before and it's usually got great merch as well as fun panels/events. And always tons o' art. By the by, one year I got to meet Sonny Strait! Sad part is it was a low turn out year so not many people came to say hi to him. Booooo! Get the word out so us Southern nerds can meet our idols!!! P.S. Luv the Shagster!

I wish I could go to Anime North but I live in Oregon :/ I'm coming up to Toronto for July, but as far as I know nothing is actually going on that month, sad.
