yes, it really does hurt the impeller. While you might not let the motors get hot enough to cause damage you are letting rubber impellers spin against metal without any water to lube. Its a big no-no. Ask a merc mechanic.
@fountainpower if you look at the exhausts, water is flowing out, meaning he is supplying it through a hose or something. It's difficult to spot, but you give a good point about people running up their motors temporarily out of the water.
yeah Donzi is the ferrari of boats. Yes there other brands that embody more prestige, but for off shore longboats nothing is like a Donzi baby. and no-on puts as much design and color-scheme into their water machines.
Ill never have a boat like that but it sounds great !! nice boat donzi and fountains are the best
