nice one.. in terms of looks I never really cared too much for the C4 model vettes.. however the ZR-1 rims helps out a ton.. I HAD an 85 with the same wheels and color... next go round C3 baby!!!

Oh man, I had one just like yours,(manual not automatic) and it had a T top and the paint color was candy apple red, bought it back in 1999 at a dealer for 13K in cash only had 89+ miles on it. I drove that baby around San Diego and every1 kept staring at it (LOL) when I pulled in at a gas station. Man, it can hug those tight turns. Drove it to Las Vegas and back to San Diego, no problem whatsoever. Sold it for $6800 and bought me a Truck. (sigh) I wish I still had it great car.

@c0rv3tt3 Yeah....Most likely they're the mags, because GS wheels were black with silver rims, and I really don't know why anyone would go through the trouble of repainting them.  The mags are that grayish silver though.

oh yes thats a beautiful "bright red" WA color code 8774. any good paint store can mix it up but it will cost a pretty penny. i had a gallon of that color made for myself 2 years ago for $340

Are you running the stock gear ratio in the rear end, or did you install a lower gearset? Also, anything done to the lower end of the motor, or is it all top end work with the heads and cam?

Stock gears, AFR Aluminum Heads, 5.1 Roller Rockers, Cam, Big Tube Runners, 52mm Throttle Body, Borla custom Catback exhaust, Full Length Headers and 25lb Ford Racing ejectors.....No lower end motor work!

well if you want a good c4 with moderate to low miles depending on the year you will probably spend from 13-15k excluding that its a zr1 or a grand sport or a callaway.

No mine was an 85. Back in those days gas wasn't an issue. Now days there are lot more better MPG. I adveragde about 19.2 mpg If I remeber correctly.

Depends on if you're talking about peak or average. On the interstate in 6th gear @ 55mph I can get over 40.

you should take the catallyic converters off, with that borla itd make it sound a hell of a lot better..depending on state laws you can take them off..in NC only 1996 model cars and up have to have em on.. and c4's have 3 converters so take em off and itd sound awesome.
