At first i will say i´m 38 and started listening to metal as a little boy.. I have followed Metal since, and LOVE Death Metal.. For this band its about playing as fast as possible..I like a riff that kills..I´ve listened to the album with 8 min songs. And they could make them to 3 min songs. If i wanna listen to Grind, Krisiun is so much better..They make Killer-riffs. This is just a very fast drummer playing to boring riffs. Well i wouldn't say that. I know, VR are the new hot hip band, that does those "cool sweeps" and "sick speeds" every now and then, but i like _compositions_. And that's where comes the problem with Vital Remains, because they can't deliver enough variation, or interesting riffs in such long song's. The average lenght in one song is about 7 minutes, and in that seven minutes, they just repate the same patterns all over again, which could be done in 3 minutes. They just bend it. It is MONOTONOUS..
