Comment sont lancées les voitures ? On entend un "Clac", comme si quelque chose retient les roues et d'un coup la bagnole accélère... C'est pas le pilote qui accélère, c'est un système qui la fait partir aussi vite non ?
I have much respect for the wankel engine, and all rotary motors in general, but come on guys, you can't honestly believe these motors sound sexy.
It really does sound like a fart played at high speeds. There are many small motors that make great, great exhaust noises. The boxer 4 cylinders sound beastly, the nissan and porsche inline 6's, and really any v8 all can sound aggressive, and great.
i love rotaries thats why i allways tell people to tell the americans or red necks what ever you want to call them to try doing 6 seconds on the 1/4 mile u ass wips
lol comming from someone who is american, no. The american way of cars is to go big or not at all, and I find it funny looking at an 11L v8 (here on youtube) puting out 980HP.
BTW the rotary is a hybrid 2 and 4 stroke. Has 4 cycles, but fires every revolution, and by no means sound like a fart.
@BigKleib34 Unless you swap that motor out, or do some insane forced induction, you'll never have a fast grand prix.
Some 6 cylinder motors are easy to get power out of, some are not. Unfortunately you have one that, again, unless you force induce, you'll never see more than 300hp, and even with that turbo you'll need some serious internal reinforcement and one hell of a tuner.
JjaJA!! Let's get some things straight. First thing the Engine itself was built in Corozal Puerto Rico by Sporty Motors and Gaby Skern. Now some of the parts this engine was built from were in thanks to Rotary Extreme in Australia (Stud kit,2-piece Shaft). The apex seal are NRS rotary seals of Canada. The rest of the engine (Semmi p-port,rotors,exhaust and intake manifold, tunning done in house by Mr.Skern and Eddie Colon(owner and driver). Turbo is 88mm old Truck turbo by Mike turbo in Florida!!
where did you get australia build the rotors when they are only just 93erd generation rotors. all it is ports and good combination and a good program on the microtec they are using and the owner "Colon" those the engine =] tuned by "Gaby Skern"

@tuscani456 they need to see a rotary engine dismantled to really appreciate the power from such a small engine..then they wont hate as much

YESSIR. Nothing like the sound of a rotary revving up to 9000 RPM's in the morning or night.

fast but 6.97 isnt a 6 second run
DtotheJ1234 3 years ago
Yes it is.
Chizel666 3 years ago
no its a 6.97 second drag run...YES even 1000th of a second counts...so .97 might as well be a country mile off from a 6 second pass

they have to put steel plating on the floor in case the flywheel breaks loose and tries to chop your legs off. no joke.
