Found Fred at our local farmers market in Oakland... Our kids love his Irish songs. He's a sweet guy, with a lilting and beautiful voice. thanks for giving him YT cred! yeah, that's definately him! I hadn't watched the whole vid before I commented. Those are definately his cds. He used to live in my house when he was a kid. His mom is our next door neighbor ^_^
Well i personally never knew him as a next door neighbor. Only his mom. When he was my age, thier family used to live in our house. Then when everyone grew up, Mrs. McCardy moved next door. Then a few years later, we moved into thier old house. I do see him at least once a year when he comes to preform for the town. But I know his mom more than I know him lol. She makes great chicken noodle soup! ^_^

Yummy old grove oranges are sweeter than ever!!! I have been absolutely LOVING the heritage tomatoes we get around here. I am eating more this year than ever before =)
I sure lucked out having my camera with me to catch Fred playing one of my favorites! Not all of the performers are worth catching, but it is always fun to listen anyway.
I keep hoping that Mondays would be Fridays at work so I could figure out when the weekend starts and wish it could never end...Yep I guess that is how I am doing in a nutshell! Come on Halloween for that VACATION I am dreaming of =)

this song makes me cry!! My daughters dad use to sing it to me! but it was VERY well done dude has a good voice! maybe one day i will be able to listen to it with out crying.
Yes BigRed it brings back memories of my Mom. I feel very emotional with it also. Crying is cleansing and it feels strange that I can smile and feel sadness at the same time with this compilation and the thoughts of my Mom.
Sorry to have brought back sad memories for you my friend.
