I can't say I've been completely convinced by any movie that it was either technically correct, scientifically valid, based on ethics or religious principles I've been taught, or is more or less dramatic than I might have responded in a similar situation. It was a very good effort to illustrate the senseless bullying many of us tolerate as normal, to recognize there are other opinions that are gentle and don't depend on shock value or by being expressed by the loudest voice in the room.

This movie deals with the concept of uniqueness in every one. The main character was shunned by society due to his isolation yet sees things a lot differently than a majority of the population. In a way the main character relates so much to me due to his uniqueness and bullying. I wish to one day make an impact in people's lives.

Someone so simple like him, almost childlike in many ways yet humanity itself had so much to learn from him but first they all had to learn from themselves. @Garone1998 Not at all..in fact the only comedic scene in the entire movie was the dude getting hit on the head with the ball at the start of the flick. A happy ending does not make this a comedy...and hope is exactly what this film brings to the table. Life is comedy and tragedy, much like theater, but there is a whole spectrum of different genres now available that simply don't fall into either category...much like this one. There may be elements of each...but it isn't pigeonholed with either!

@Magazine30 u must know the difference between a comedy and a dramatic movie. the movie must have bad end and u can see that at the beginning from every movie. the point is, that u got hope and that is ur "mistake".
did u see the film "the Jew of Venice"?
I can believe that, but this is comedy, because they got a happy end.

@Garone1998 I know what you're getting at with your points, with the difference between a comedy and a tragedy. But those terms haven't meant what you're implying since the 1800s. In todays language, this is by no means a comedy.

@Garone1998 Not at all..in fact the only comedic scene in the entire movie was the dude getting hit on the head with the ball at the start of the flick. A happy ending does not make this a comedy...and hope is exactly what this film brings to the table. Life is comedy and tragedy, much like theater, but there is a whole spectrum of different genres now available that simply don't fall into either category...much like this one. There may be elements of each...but it isn't pigeonholed with either!
