If you want to know about just the character Turlles himself i'll tell you. Turles is a upper class Saiyan who was once a member of the Saiyan Army under the planet trade organization, but went defunct and off into the cosmos to conquer planets for himself with his group known as the Turles Crusher Corps. He was once a former servant of Frieza but he wasn't on planet vegeta when it blew up. He abandoned Frieza. Later on he goes to earth to check up on Kakarot(Goku)

@ASKD3V Not all the movies are part of the main timelines! Most of them were made just for profit. On in some cases show things form a different light. Tullece for example, shows us what Goku may have been like ahd he not bumped his head as a baby! Movies 12-13 are alternate endings for the Majin Buu fights.

@WAZzXx The movies only go in order by their time creation. By this I mean the 1st three movies Dead Zone, Tree of Might, and Lord Slug. Those three would be before super saiyan was brought in. (unless you count that false super saiyan in the lord slug movie) Then by movie 12 with Tapion they were using super saiyan 3 etc.

The movies are not tied into the anime storyline, the movies have their own time line apart from each other. They only make reference to some of the show.

Right after Pic killed Goku and Radiz with his special beam cannon. Goku went to train with king ki, gohan trained with pic and the rest of the z fighters went and trained with kami. So then Vege and Nappa come and they wish back goku and fight and beat Nappa and Vegeta. The time between after the fight with nappa and vegeta and before going to namek the movies 2 3 and 4 occured, (this one is the third). (Movie one came b4 radiz)
