You are just the best, Jen. I look forward so much to your videos and am crazy about Petey - it's a joy to see you lovingly you honor him. We feel this way about our 8 year old white Standard Poodle - who knows he's the pampered boy of our house - 40 lbs of goofy love and laughs. We get a dog every 10 years to stagger their ages. It seems to give a couple years of extra life to the old one, who in turn, housebreaks the puppy.
I just love Labs :-) I have a black lab also...Remington. I adopted him last year, and I am so attached to him! I know exactly how you feel about Peetey :)

I watched this vid right after you made it, then just watched it again now...the timing is perfect and just what I needed. My Aussie, Elly, just had a tumor removed from her gums, thank God it was benign. They had to take quite a bit of tissue along with it and I was freaked out that they might have to take the tooth as well. If Petee can live without a toe, my baby girl can loose a tooth if need be! Haven't seen you in a while, hope all is well. Hugs to handsome...

I was so exited to tell you!! I got a white lab puppy friday. I took him to the vet saturday. today is sunday. he has mange =( the lady who had them had them in such a dirty place. BUT other than that he is very healthy and he is getting vet treatment for his skin. I named him SETH!! HE is so cute. I hope my Seth is a big as a blessing to me as pette is to you!!! I love him. If you have any lab puppy advice or foods you found he did best with please let me know. I know you do the best pette
Black labs are just so beautiful, I know how you felt when you found out he had cancer, I lost my black lab last month due to cancer in the mouth and he was only four :/
and than I purchased my Minnie 3yrs ago and she was the best purchase I ever bought myself she is the sweetest, loving, caring, smart Baby her and Bingo have most of the same qualities just she is tinyer she is my chick magnet she always needs to be with Mommy or else she would have a fit she is so precious and cares so much about me I love her she is also another Big Love of my Life! Bingo was given to me as a Birthday Gift when I was 17 and he been with me threw thick and thin and I got his name tattooed on my Body he is one of the Loves of my Life I would Die with out him I cant even imagine the day with out him here with me. My mom has bred English Labs for 25+ years and I grew up with them all my life we had 30, that all ran the yard, all her puppies are SOLD before EVER born~! we once had 70 puppies at one time an all ready to go home at Christmas we had people showing up at our door with wrapped boxes and bows and they would send us pictures of their kids/wives/girls friends YOU NAME it~! on Christmas morning getting there puppies~!

Same thing happen to my brother's black lab. She had cancer in her dew claw. Wonder if it's something that runs in their breed!! They are beautiful dogs!!!

You are a wonderful, beautiful person and Petey is adorable. I wonder though why a breeder would release a dog at six weeks old, they are to be with their mothers until eight weeks? Maybe it for them money and quicker breeding. Would you ever consider adopting a dog from a shelter? (I won't go into how they are ruthlessly killed by the thousands.) Please, I hope you and everyone consider this option~they make FANTASTIC and loving pets!) Mine are my family, so very loving.

It makes me kinda sad to see a video about purchasing a dog from a breeder. Would have been nicer if you would have adopted him from a rescue or the Humane Society.
@LegallyBllonde Believe me, I totally think rescuing is an AWESOME way to add a family member, but I think what eventually happens to the puppies that breeders have if they don't get adopted. EVERY dog needs and deserves a good, loving home. I will NEVER regret my decision of purchasing my Petee. I can only pray that every dog finds a family who will love them unconditionally. And again, I think rescuing is wonderful...and might be in our future as well.

Aww, this video is precious!! I t brought tears to my eyes. We have a 3 year old Chocolate Lab named Hershey and she is my furry baby. My other baby is my 15 y.o. daughter, quite different from my furry baby lol! Hershey decided to eat one of my daughters anklet socks, which got lodged in her small intestine. Four thousand dollars later......OUCH! She had surgery and mended quickly and she is our love too!! Thanks for your way too cute video!

Jen, you may or may not need this info., but our Great Dane got cancer in her lower "arm" quite a few years ago and didn't make it. :( Our vet told us that it may have been caused by exposure to flea treatments on her, and on the yard. We're in the south with LOTS of fleas and bugs, and used to use pesticides for that reason and stopped. Just thought I'd pass that along in case it applies. You seem pretty aware of that kind of thing already. Petee is so awesome! So is your love for him.
@Shelley9090 Oh Shelley - I am so sorry for your loss. Yes, I've heard and we are so careful not to even put down fertilizer on our grass...we may have an ugly lawn but we rather be safe then sorry. But thank you for that info...I hope others get to read it as well.

This is so scary...should I give her something else for treatment of fleas, she doesn't have any, just its a precaution cause we live in Fl. Also, I was going to spray weed killer for the weeds in the backyard...is that pesticides and should that not be used? Just want the VERY BEST for my baby Lady!!! Thank you so much and so SORRY! @LittleT287 Tara, no, I wouldn't worry about Frontline. Back in the 70's we had to POUR flea killer on our dog after her bath. We didn't have Frontline back then. And we had to keep the yard sprayed. However, our dog's death woke us up to the use of toxins in and around our house. You have to use your own judgement, but whatever you do use, use it as sparingly as possible. My husband is a physician specializing in alternative medicine, and so toxins are a big no no. Just be careful.
Hi Jen, Give Petee a huge hug for me. He's a big baby boy. I just lost my 11 yr. old Yorkie, Chloe, very unexpectedly this Wednesday. My husband and I are heartbroken with her loss. She was our little fur-daughter and she was such a clown and made us laugh all the time. Enjoy every day with him and I wish him many more years of good health with you and your husband to cherish.

I love this video so much, even though it made me cry because I miss my little girl. I had to put down my pasha in May of this year. She had stage 4 cancer and was only 4 years old. I paid 450.00 dollars for her and she was my best purchase everrrrrrr!!!! She now rest in a little tin box on my night stand next to my bed.

Dogs are the best mates EVER. I love dogs so much, they're way better than people.....lol. I seriously think they are. It warms my heart to see you talk about your Petee. It makes me want to give my 2 boys (1 Basenji & 1 Stafford) a giant cuddle. My dogs mean the world to me and it's not very often I see someone else who adores their dog in the same way I do.

So sweet. I just adore Petee. I volunteer at a no kill rescue and we have over 200 residents currently with a waiting list. We only take in homeless (many rescues and shelter in our area only take pets) and I spend most of my time at the sanctuary with the ones with specials needs. It really makes my day when I see other love animals and provided them with the bestest homes ever! They give us so much back. Thanks Jen, so touching, really warms my heart :-)

Did Petee come from a puppy mill or a bad breeder? Usually a 'good' breeder will guarantee hips on big dogs...and poor Petee...he was so young! You seem like such a good dog mom! I hope you adopt a dog one day...any pup would be lucky to have you as their mom! Petee is adorable.

This was adorable... Made me tear up and reminded me of my dog. He passed away about a year or so ago due to throat cancer but I felt tad same way as you do about Petee! .
@BlackLabLover9 Thanks Jen... he had a good life- he was 16 when we had to put him down but he was my baby and my Christmas Puppy (he loved opening presents!!) It's always hard when they are sick or have to have procedures done- poor Petee with the hip replacement and the cancer in the toe. I agree Cancer is horrible!
Love!!!! What an angel...My kids call our Oreo their brother, and we call him our son as well. He will probably not live to be as old as Petee due to issues since birth, but, that is why we love him even more and try to give him a great life. Oh, and speaking of the little furry one, he saw Petee get a treat and now wants one as well!

You are such a sweetheart! I love all my rotties. I had Lily for 12 years and she just left us but we still talk about her like she is still here. Aside from my Lily, we also get rescue rotties that are old because no one wants them--they have such special hearts--thanks for a wonderful Peeps video, now I am gonna go hug mine.

It makes me kinda sad to see a video about purchasing a dog from a breeder. Would have been nicer if you would have adopted him from a rescue or the Humane Society.

@LegallyBllonde Believe me, I totally think rescuing is an AWESOME way to add a family member, but I think what eventually happens to the puppies that breeders have if they don't get adopted. EVERY dog needs and deserves a good, loving home. I will NEVER regret my decision of purchasing my Petee. I can only pray that every dog finds a family who will love them unconditionally. And again, I think rescuing is wonderful...and might be in our future as well.

Aww, this video is precious!! I t brought tears to my eyes. We have a 3 year old Chocolate Lab named Hershey and she is my furry baby. My other baby is my 15 y.o. daughter, quite different from my furry baby lol! Hershey decided to eat one of my daughters anklet socks, which got lodged in her small intestine. Four thousand dollars later......OUCH! She had surgery and mended quickly and she is our love too!! Thanks for your way too cute video!

Jenn ....I loved this story .It is just so beautiful the relationship you and Petee have. I don't think people that do not have a pet and have that bond with them can understand the love we have for them . I love my little girls and would be totally lost and heartbroken if anything ever happened. Petee Loves you so much and you can see that each time he is in your videos . I also wanted to say one more thing, I agree for me, that animals are better than people. They give everything and ask for nothing in return. I love my 2 boys so much. Aww Jen I enjoyed this vid so much. I'm so happy you love your dog as much as I love my pup, Snickers, and my kitty, Chill. When I saw the name of your vid I immediately thought of my 2 boys. I have a pure bred chow chow & I think he is the best dog ever & a sweety pie. I feel so blessed to have him in my life. My heart goes out to you in dealing w/ those medical issues. My boy got a hotspot on his neck & it's been about 3 months & almost gone. Poor baby itches it & opens the scabs.

Jen, you may or may not need this info., but our Great Dane got cancer in her lower "arm" quite a few years ago and didn't make it. :( Our vet told us that it may have been caused by exposure to flea treatments on her, and on the yard. We're in the south with LOTS of fleas and bugs, and used to use pesticides for that reason and stopped. Just thought I'd pass that along in case it applies. You seem pretty aware of that kind of thing already. Petee is so awesome! So is your love for him.

This is so scary...should I give her something else for treatment of fleas, she doesn't have any, just its a precaution cause we live in Fl. Also, I was going to spray weed killer for the weeds in the backyard...is that pesticides and should that not be used? Just want the VERY BEST for my baby Lady!!! Thank you so much and so SORRY! @LittleT287 Tara, no, I wouldn't worry about Frontline. Back in the 70's we had to POUR flea killer on our dog after her bath. We didn't have Frontline back then. And we had to keep the yard sprayed. However, our dog's death woke us up to the use of toxins in and around our house. You have to use your own judgement, but whatever you do use, use it as sparingly as possible. My husband is a physician specializing in alternative medicine, and so toxins are a big no no. Just be careful.

Hi Jen, Give Petee a huge hug for me. He's a big baby boy. I just lost my 11 yr. old Yorkie, Chloe, very unexpectedly this Wednesday. My husband and I are heartbroken with her loss. She was our little fur-daughter and she was such a clown and made us laugh all the time. Enjoy every day with him and I wish him many more years of good health with you and your husband to cherish.

I love this video so much, even though it made me cry because I miss my little girl. I had to put down my pasha in May of this year. She had stage 4 cancer and was only 4 years old. I paid 450.00 dollars for her and she was my best purchase everrrrrrr!!!! She now rest in a little tin box on my night stand next to my bed.

Dogs are the best mates EVER. I love dogs so much, they're way better than people.....lol. I seriously think they are. It warms my heart to see you talk about your Petee. It makes me want to give my 2 boys (1 Basenji & 1 Stafford) a giant cuddle. My dogs mean the world to me and it's not very often I see someone else who adores their dog in the same way I do.

So sweet. I just adore Petee. I volunteer at a no kill rescue and we have over 200 residents currently with a waiting list. We only take in homeless (many rescues and shelter in our area only take pets) and I spend most of my time at the sanctuary with the ones with specials needs. It really makes my day when I see other love animals and provided them with the bestest homes ever! They give us so much back. Thanks Jen, so touching, really warms my heart :-)

aw this is SO sweet. i just had to put my baby girl down a few months ago. her name was darbie and she was my baby! she had a tumor on her hip and we didnt find out till it was too late so we had to put her down. but this video just reminds me of her! and its sooo cute to see that there is someone else out there who treats their pups as their own babies!! Did Petee come from a puppy mill or a bad breeder? Usually a 'good' breeder will guarantee hips on big dogs...and poor Petee...he was so young! You seem like such a good dog mom! I hope you adopt a dog one day...any pup would be lucky to have you as their mom! Petee is adorable.

It's always hard when they are sick or have to have procedures done- poor Petee with the hip replacement and the cancer in the toe. I agree Cancer is horrible!

Love!!!! What an angel...My kids call our Oreo their brother, and we call him our son as well. He will probably not live to be as old as Petee due to issues since birth, but, that is why we love him even more and try to give him a great life. Oh, and speaking of the little furry one, he saw Petee get a treat and now wants one as well!
