Thank you Rep. Garrett for making a clear and concise statement on the house floor. It is so important that the U.S. recognize the past and by so doing help with the healing process. It is a sad day when politics overrides truth and justice. Our government professes these attributes but uses them only when they are convenient. I, for one, do not believe that Turkey is all about being a strategic ally. Everything is about money and/or oil. We continue to fail ourselves, our past and our future.

Rep. Scott Garrett. I wanted to thank you for making such a remarkable comment during this years April 24 commemoration. Thank you for you support and thank you for telling the truth. We hope that someday, US Congress and senate will unanimously indorse the resolution recognizing the Armenian Genocide. Thanks again
