AMAZING video. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for yearsdue to bullying that took place in my childhood and that still continues today to a lesser extent. This is the way people need to treat me as I am very sensitive and recovering from it is a slow process that still continues today. Saying "suck it up" or "get over it" when I am truly struggling does not help as it only discounts my pain. By the way, my name is Annie as well. :) Thank you SO much for posting!
What called my attention to your profile was the cute drawing in your avatar space. But, I saw that your last login was 2 months ago. Where have you been? Changed homes?? Went to a clinic, an intervention? I saw, also, that you are the same age as I am, 28.
I´d like to add that this video goes way too fast and that you should slow it down, in order for us to able to read it, okay?
Hope you´re going to answer me very soon, w/ good news.
I do need to update! I don't spend much time on YT anymore. Just a quick check in from time to time. It amazes, though, all of the responses I get from people even a year later. I keep my account open for that reason. Who knows, I may spend more time on YT at some point. Life has been pretty good lately. The demons are still there, but I don't struggle as much as I used to. Maybe I am in denial again, but right now I am happy here.
Re the thank yoU! I paused it a bit too. The music goes great with it. I found myself rewinding so I could listen and read at the same time. Sad to say, but guys get abused too.
Thanks you...from someone who is still struggling to recover from childhood sexual abuse. So much is misunderstood by others and there is often judgment when you can't handle life in a "normal" manner. Progress is slow and not everyone has the patience to wait for you to "get over it." True friends are blessings.
I really liked the video. It said so much. It is one of the best things i have seen on youtube. I am going to show it to my mother who i am sure will take note.
Wow, great job I think this is the most helpful and inspiring video on youtube. Thank you so, so much for making and posting this - it will help so many people.
Thanks! :-) YouTube brings people together in a way that is so new to society and as with all other interactions, we need to embrace others with love, acceptance and freedom from judgement just as if these people were sitting in a room with us. I recognize that there will always be those that won't do that, but I truly believe that the general population has good intentions but may lack direction. ~Annie

Excellent "tutorial". We people don´t realize that so many times our own "urgency to heal" is much higher than our friend´s ability to "recover".
A must see (You should be giving brochures! ;-)
Thank you
