It's the same with the ballistic knife in Black Ops, the pin had to be pulled out on the initial swap. In Sticks and Stones, swapping to it and then immediately swapping back to the crossbow became extremely habitual for me.

I am pretty sure it's the same way with ANY weapon that has a swap animation, such as MW2's Stinger and PP2000.

You don't even need to watch the animation, just press To switch weapon as soon as you spawn, and even it you dont even see your secondary, the animation will be done

@Ambrose619 not anymore tho, after all the patches. and recoil and range reduction, its only effective 10- 15 ft . before it was rediculous cuz it was easy to kill someone 30+ft away. now it requires a whole clip if u wanna try something like that. and usually if ppl get u within the range to get killed by this, u prolly coulda killed them just the same with something else. like the striker. or even just a sub machine gun

You guys want to know something funny? The fmg9 is actually a glock 18 conversion. The glock was put on that box type thing so if you were to fire this in real life what you would have is basically a glock 18(c) rifle

The animation is because the FMG comes folded, in order to increase mobility, and it is the design of the gun that it folds. that's what FMG stands for. Folding Machine Gun

this tip actually applies for most of weapons with such animations , and it happened with launchers in mw2 (example : when you pull out your stinger the first time it opens the iron sights, the next times you will be able to aim right away)

The FMG9 akimbo is beautiful, It's 2 pocket sized, fully automatic Type 95's with the fire rate of the MP7 and the range and accuracy of the MSR that grant you the ability to beat Hermes in a race due to your speed. AND they don't replace your primary.

Woody, you can cancel the animation by pressing (RB+ Y), It's a trick/glitch to cancel your equipment use. Since Y,Y is patched, this is the new way to do it. :)

another tip for the FMG9's

is that as soon as you press Y or triangle and you see the FMG9's come up press Y or triangle twice and it'll be much faster then to wait for the animations to finish, its about a second quicker, could win you the gunfight :)
