Didn't say they were special forces. I agree they are not covert either. Just saying that sometimes special forces train the afghan ay and Iraqi army. And I do agree that other country specail forces are better because of te experience they have. ie Russian or other countrys. Hundreds of years of warfare.

Us army special ops needs to be trained more precise their not that covert as saying they stick out and are not skilled nearly as enough as the other countries covert ops Putting 4 special op forces in is a killing field and a dangerous situation for our troops 1 guy now is more covert and more stealthy then 4. 4 american lives were lost because of detection in 1 measly 20 minutes since the green light on mission began. on other missions the 1 guy usually remains undetected. RIP

Leave it at the fact that it's an interesting video and that these men, regardless of who they are and what they are doing are risking their lives because they can. FYI special forces have been training and letting the iraqi and afghan army use equipment like that. If I were special forces I wouldn't want to go do house clearings and night ops with just a CCO and no NVGs. Of course if they tag along they use the equipment to.

Obviously they are not part of the SF Groups, and are the Army contigent of JSOC, and take their command and control from SOCOM, BUT they are still an element of SF under USASOC. Also referred to as CAG (Combat Action Group) by the DOD.
