LeBanner is a great fighter. Although I have a bias towards Hunt because were Samoan, but LeBanner is a better all around fighter with skills in multiple areas. Hunts good with only stand up... But great fight for both who did great.

I hadn't watched this fight in a while. It's easily one of the most vicious knockouts ever. Violent in the extreme...and LeBanner was a very bad dude. Here though he was dispatched like few fighters have ever been. Hunt gave himself a chance against virtually anyone they put in front of him because of that granite chin and knockout power in both fists.

@laokon well that's a extreme difference even if you mean it hypo. but yes a fighter with a flawless record could lose against an underdog because he's weak against his style. there are fighters who just cant fight succesfully together i mean with their usual style. for every style there's something like an "anti-style" i dont know how ot explain it better.

@omgstoptakingnames Except that I doubt we'll be seeing him in the ring anymore. Kickboxing has evolved to a point where a guy like Hunt has his weight working against him. The days that you could walk into the heavyweight division and win by being fatter then the others and boxing it out are really past.

Take a look at 2:34. He's completely out and still trying to get up and locating where hunt was. All in his head is fight fight fight. What a great heart! I never saw him to let himself down after a few punches and get some rest while the ref counts. That makes him a no1 fighter ever for sure.
KO the opp or get KO'd! K-1 needs such fighters.

K-1 Legends. Mark Hunt is so awesome. His striking ain't near as good as it use to be, but even now in 2011 he is one of the most dangerous strikers in the UFC. I would have liked to see Hunt vs Cro-Cop III, maybe we will see Hunt vs Pat Barry.

I hadn't watched this fight in a while. It's easily one of the most vicious knockouts ever. Violent in the extreme...and LeBanner was a very bad dude. Here though he was dispatched like few fighters have ever been. Hunt gave himself a chance against virtually anyone they put in front of him because of that granite chin and knockout power in both fists.
