No they weren't turned into Arry and Bert. They were just other Diesels that worked at the Scrapyards and Splatter and Dodge were just Diesels from the Other Railway who were Diesel 10's followers just both the same class.

BTW They are all (Splatter, Dodge, Arry, and Bert) the same class of diesel. (don't know if you knew that.)

I see that they could have used splatter and dodge as Arry and Bert, but what if they wnted to bring them back? You know,before the cgi series.

@TruckerBoi100 I guess that was one of the drawbacks because they would have to repaint Arry and Bert and make them into Splatter and Dodge again. Maybe they brought Arry and Bert into the series to make sure that Splatter and Dodge never appeared again.

i remember i went to my local train store to see when the 2011 versions were coming out and the guy told me learning curve asked the guy who he thinks should be reintruduced and he suggested them true story

Well, I had two pairs of Splatter and Dodge, both of which were bought in the TATMR packaging. one pair were factory errors, having the faces swapped. Saddly, my cousin took two of them, leaving me with both shocked face ones. At least I still have one factory error!

There still cool. They are 2 of my favorite diesels, and I always thought that they were good in the end; why some still depict them as evil, I don't know.

(BTW, I saw a video that showed how Splatter , Dodge, and Dennis could've appeared in DotD instead of the three new diesels: Sid, Pax, & Norm)

Actuallu, casts of the Splodge models were taken and those were painted into Arry and Bert. So the original Splodge models may still be out there! (I read this in an interview)

@MrMPS2002 ive heard he is confused you can tell season 5 was being shot during the movie as cranky's legs are seen so basically it was before the movie that it was first released and after..... so arry and bert have their own models
