  • Thanks for the quick reply. On mine I do have 2double pole 60amp beakers on the unit, but it says for 2 wire installation only one gets 6awg wire w/60amp double breaker while the other gets10awg w/30amp double pole one.Oh well it works like a champ!!!Thanks

  • Wow I can't believe I found this!!lolJust picked one of these up.Does your blower ever shut off?Are both wires hooked to one 50amp breaker? On mine it says to hook one breaker up to 10gauge wire which should put it at 30 amp??

  • @jasonlongor1 I think it says somewhere on the unit what gage wire to use. I used 6 gage. If you can't find it on yours let me know and i'll go double check mine. And the breaker i used in my box is one of the double breaker that are attached to each other, They're like $15 at home depot or lowes. I'd be happy to help if you have any more questions, Good luck and thanks for the comment.

  • thanks for getting back to me so fast. So you just connected those two wires(red&white) to the thermostat ?

  • can you tell me how you connected your thermostat wires to the unit? Is there 120 volts going to the red and white I have the same unit. Thanks

  • @Hugh812howboutU

I think there is a transformer that reduces it to like 18 volts apox. When I was trying to get mine going I thought that was the problem, so I ordered a new one and that did'nt fix it. But the red and white wires should be the only one you really need. Don't know what else to tell you, Thanks for the comment.
