  • Also, nearly all monitors have a brightness of 300 cd/m2. This one is a third brighter, with a brightness of 400 cd/m2. If these figures don't mean anything to you: I once put my monitor (this one) next to a decent LED monitor. The picture quality of this one actually matches that of a LED display. Both in contrast and brightness. Also the display of dark greys is excellent!! Even though it uses a TN LCD display.

Even if you want a conventional 2d screen, this is an excellent choice.

  • omg lool u dont need to uncrew ever screw there just say it and on to the next thing it was annoying just so u knw

  • This monitor sucks and the second image is not colored.

  • @tomdent474 Every*

  • Note that 3D on computers was available in the 1990s on CRT monitors, and there is a company in the USA who claims their 3D works on regular LCD (although I bought one and I couldn't get it to work). You don't need to demo screws. Is the monitor LED or CCFL? What type of panel does it use? What refresh rate does it use?

  • would it work with a PS3?

  • Dude? Your pc is a monster!

  • This guy screws faster than he talks .

  • @kinkabala He's the current world champion.

  • Is Zalman ZM-M240W better than Zalman ZM-M220W

  • @kakarot2055

    better:

    24" over 22"

    resolution of 1920*1080 over 1680*1050

    worse:

    less bright

    no height adjustment

    no screen rotation

    more expensive

  • does this company ship to the us?

  • No se necesita un monitor 3D para poder ver los juegos en 3d , para eso esta las gafas 3D y el software de Nvidia stereoscipic lo univo que necesitas es una buena tareja de video que soporte 3D y eso es todo.

  • where can i buy it from

  • search Quiet PC

  • Hmmm welcome to the future of gaming entertainment guys.. Thats gonna be so epic, how much did it cost you.. ima want one of those sets :3 and buy like 10 glasses for my friends.. :D

  • This monitor is so fucking reflective, i own it, you have to make sure that the lightiong in your room is darker than that you are trying to show on the monitor, for example, if you were to play a dark game like penumbra or the like you will have great trouble seeing the screen if you have any lights on in the room, and even with them all off you will still have trouble seeing it, i suggest an anti-glare screen to go along with it.

  • Is there any hardware requirement?

e.g. Does it support Nvidia 9XXX series?

    e.g. windows 7 needed?

e.g. does it cost ram consumption?

  • The quality of the speaking voice on this review, and the wording chosen, was excellent, as were the camera shots and editing.

Unfortunately, it completely skipped over reviewing the 3D functionality (general impressions, compatibility, etc) which is what people considering a Trimon would be looking for!

  • A minute too tell everything in the box. Dude please speed up a little

  • Start with important stuff and then finish off rambling all you like. Please try to condense reviews into important information; it's a pain to get to the end and find you don't actually have much to say that couldn't have been said at the start.

  • I hate how you show all the unscrewing.

  • Is this good for 3D games?, i have a 19" looking to upgrade to 3D, was thinking about the Nvidia 3D Vision, But this is a little too expensive, DOse this compare to the 3D Vision?, and Will runing a game in 3D Mode have a Big hit on Performance During gameplay?

  • @umpalumpa101909 You need sterio scopic 3d vision from nvidia aswell as this monitor mate.

The monitor runs 2 image's each at 60hz [120hz overall]

Your grafix card [s] .... NVIDIA ONLY!! process the 2 images and the glases you get with it pick up 2 slighty diferent shades to make it seam like 1 image in 3d.

    So basicly you need

Nvidia gpu 200 serie's or newer

    120HZ Monitor

And 3d vision..... so like you say..... ALOT OF MONEY [wasted lol]

  • @wantedlonewolf Ah right, is it Active shutter?, i was thiking it used Polarized 3d or whatever, Rather than needing Active shutter glasses (3D Vision), Oh well, It's all a tad too expensive for me :P, i think i will stick with my Good old Red / Cyan Anaglyph 3D... lol, at least that only costs about £1, lol, SO is the Nvidia 3D Vision Worth the Hype?

  • @umpalumpa101909 I dont wanna judge it.... as i dont have it so i canot tell you for everything.

But iv tried it and to be honest in my opinion its like when you watch a 3d film.... you either buy into it and love it and tell all your mates a shark nearly ate you at the movies today because it was that 3d lol.. When really its no beter and hurts your eyes after a couple of hours.

My self.. i would rather spend that £400 on a 5800 series from ati and another 2 [22"] screens for suround vision.

  • @wantedlonewolf Ah, fair enough lol, I guess it's one of those things were you would want to Try before you buy :P

  • @umpalumpa101909 Yes definitly.... try before you buy any of these things mate.

In my opinion its just a gimmik and only those sucked in easily will buy these things.

I got to play on them for like 2 hours at the london game festival while they were packing everthing else away.... pretty cool of them, but i wasnt impresed by their not so 3d, ............3d vision.

  • @wantedlonewolf Well you can change the Depth and stuff on it, maby they didnt have much Depth / 3D Effect, maby you can add more, Anyway, Think i'll probably stay away from 3D At the moment

  • @umpalumpa101909 3d vision is better cuz these monitors have lines going across and the floor looks stupid in fps games.. it's like it's half resolution horizontally or something

  • @umpalumpa101909 This one is polarised 3D (passive), so should be easier to watch than the Nvidia 3D active shutter glasses, and a less dim picture too - but at the same time it works with the Nvidia 3D Vision drivers.

I have some active shutter glasses from a few years ago and do not like the active shutter approach (dims the screen, visible flicker, bulky glasses) but I have no issue with passive polarised lenses.

I am considering the latest 24" Trimon seriously but would like to know more.

  • well it looks great, i may be getting the 24" version :P that is if i can persuade my parents to make the plunge (£400 is alot of money!)

  • How is the actual 3D - does it come out of the screen, or give depth?

  • Generally did you liked it? Let's say it's not 3D. Is it good in 2D mode? thanks

  • dude, i wanna know if it's an interlaced monitor, and that if itll work if im editing 3d in fcp. we don't need to know how to unscrew the stand

  • do yo have this monitor also whit LED Light and 3D?

and 2 MS respons for the gaming?

  • nice monitor but if it has LED than i will by it

so this is not my monitor

  • hey, isnt this monitor HD too?.... its a shame, i already bought the 3D vision set =S

  • fk this tv too expensive

  • Good job on the video... they have one on post here in Germany for 190us that comes with a nice looking FPS mouse and surrond/mic headset. I was thinking of getting it today but wanted to check out reviews. Thanks man!

  • dude this is not a airline safety video

  • You need to concentrate more on the quality of the display rather than how u adjust its height and how you remove screws. Otherwise a good video. I'm glad there is at least one video on youtube on the Zalman 3D monitors...

  • What about us ATi owners?

  • dude you are f-ing slow

  • thanks

  • I am serious. In the package there is a cable, (3 seconds), cd(3 seconds), 3d glasses,glasses(3 seconds),etcetcetc

  • @AdzProductions

Dont worry he is fucking jeleous of not getting a 3D monitor for himself.

  • @AdzProductions Dont worry he is just being a dick because he couldn't afford a 3D monitor.

  • @TheExcentrik Its like his a f ing retard,

  • @TheExcentrik Your comment is disgusting!

The speed is perfect, but you are definitely NOT!

Get a life, get Jesus in your heart, and these demons will leave you!

  • But not with a screwdriver.

  • @TheExcentrik Dude, you have a dirt mouth!

    Wash your inside!

  • What is your computer specs? do you reckon getting the 120khz monitor will be better against this? thanks in advance

  • Hey everyone, I would really like to know if this monitor works with an iMac (that I have installed Windows on).

    Does anyone know?

    I'm glad for every hint.

  • with the right adapter im sure it could

  • Hey Adam, thanks for the fast answer! I'm going to try that.

  • can this monitor only be adjusted to stand very tall or very low, can it stand where ever you stop pulling the monitor up and down? and will the nvidia 3d glasses work with this monitor?

  • Are those glasses the same or better or worse than the nvidia glasses?

  • They are something completely different: The nvidia glasses are so called "active" 3D glasses, which means they are shutterglasses and synchronized with the monitor.

This glasses however are polarized ("passive glasses"), which is (in my opinion) the better solution.

  • its 22 ? look like 23

  • 4;21, is it not easie to immediately instal the latest driver versio from nvidia

  • thanks mann, I needed that review

  • nice review on the monitor.

  • nice review mate" but I don't like the scew thing/ and would help if you had some info on how much the cost. But all in all not to shaby.

  • good review. But I prefer a more focus on the 3D performance than where the screws are

  • nice review mate..i noticed the second time you started unscrewing the screws you speeded it up..i was like bloody hell hes good with a screw driver XD

  • thank you for the vid, it was very funny

  • nice review and a monitor!

  • nice :)

  • How much does this cost?

  • @CyberMortal £191.41

  • 210 euro

  • I agree with the screw thingy, i would also suggest the positive or negative things to be on text. Last but not least, price is a factor, a product must be judged for it's value for money.

  • awesome vid dude keep em commin'

  • Nice review!!

  • codm2 en 3D might be fun xD

  • yup it is

  • Also, what is the MWE button for? You didn't specify.

  • your videos are good but i dont think people want to watch you unscrewing and screwing. a fade in and out would be good in those situations to show before and after

  • @CyberMortal Ok

  • I agree with cyber.

  • I had to search for the price (310$) and wonder how the glasses compare to other, similarly priced glasses. They look more comfortable. Does the software work with all OpenGL/DirectX 6+ apps?

  • Interesting hardware, but i don't have to see you unscrewing 4 screws in a row (so a fade cut would work nicely there) and ventilation openings aren't really that interesting. I'm curious about the operation. Mute on the same button as volume up? Do the glasses require batteries? Are they infrared shutterglasses? Can multiple people watch at once, and are extra/spare glasses available? Is the 3D image full resolution?

  • I will consider buying this.

  • i dont think you will christopher

  • im curious as to how much you spent on this, and whether or not it was worth the price?

  • Looks good ! 5/5

  • I think you could skip the parts where you screw things apart.

At least when you need two hands to do it. >.>

Anyways quite nice to know there actually is computer screens able to create 3D.

  • I agree, and some background music would be nice. :D and u could cut off those silent moments. Do some editing and stuff

  • he tries too much to act like 3DGAMEMAN

  • hey im not sure but i don't relive 3dgameman has reviewed a monitor before and he does his posetives and negatives throughout the video and i do mine at the end of the video, also he starts by talking to the camera about the product wereas i dont, please reply to this telling me what to stop doing in order to stop ACTING like 3dgameman, dont get me wrong he is a great tech review but isn't everyone who does tech reviews fall into the ACTING LIKE 3DGAMEMAN ,category many thanks

  • its FUNNY how u try to sound like a pro reviewer!

  • hmm at least i try unlike you who posts videos about microphones not working :S

  • wow havent seen this monitor before.. how much did it costs?

  • hey adam great review how much did you get it for?
