Its always the same story with women. Males are circumcised and females are mutilated. What hypocrites you all are. Many of the males you had no concern for are actively supporting this procedure for all women. It should be mandatory for all girls at birth and women to age 35. Then maybe after 60 years women can begin to consider the feelings of children and protect them like a mother should. There is no other way plus there are many health benefits.

there are some wonderful groups dealing with FGM you can check out... Clitoraid and Child Bride Rescue are less known but very interesting and helpful work...this has haunted me since I read about it over 20 years ago. I pray for these girls daily.
this has been something that disturbs me as well...I often think of those children.
and yes...seeing a documentary on it...they showed that it is the family belief system...the mothers and women were the ones in the footage that I saw that do this to their own children and carry on this horrifying tradition. The children are naturally traumatized. Belief systems (not necessarily religious..just basic beliefs) need to change. I'm not sure how manage the solution. Something I ponder at times
There have been some women who endured this and then moved to the West who have campaigned for change, brought this to our awareness. I guess our role, if we take it, is to inform. I've been appalled since I put this video how many thought male and female circumsision was the same thing, that there was no harm done to the woman and no loss of sensation or pleasure.
Btw, thanks for your lovely comment on my channel, and for subscribing. :)

I cannot comprehend that mentality...i think of them as 'madmen' (incl women as well...just the term tho)
*sighs* too many atrocities that come to mind, still going on in the world
The reason why it's the mothers who ensure their daughters get cut is that they've benefitted from the procedure themselves, so they're keen for their daughters to enjoy it too.
u r obviously trying to be funny - unfortunately it's hard to laff at little girls getting their privates cut off with dirty instruments & no anesthesia...i don't know...maybe it's just me.
Note there are many forms of FGM in addition to the radical form you describe (cliterodectomy).
In Indonesia, usually the clitoris is left intact with only the female foreskin cut (like MGM). Of course, ALL forms of FGM are rightly banned in the the "West".
Now to male circumcision (MGM): fully 65% of American baby boys are STILL subjected to this. Most babies are not anesthetised, since they are vulnerable to anaesthetic side effects. It is HIGHLY traumatic.
Thanks for the info. I fail to understand how anyone can feel it acceptable to cut any child in such a manner without anaesthetic, whatever their gender.
Loreila, in the USA, baby circumcisions are commonly performed without anaesthesia. However, it is quite common to smear EMLA cream anaesthetic over the baby's genitals prior to the op. This gives slight pain relief (a cream penetrates poorly).
Apart from the cutting, the baby's foreskin has to be prised off his glans (since in infancy both tissues are fused) - very painful!
But why perform this unnecessary mutilation of healthy tissue without the owner of the body's informed consent?!
'But why perform this unnecessary mutilation of healthy tissue without the owner of the body's informed consent?!'
I couldn't agree more. The whole thing is quite mysterious to me, why anyone might wish to inlfict such a thing on anyone, let alone a defenceless baby.
was a load of shit, you can not compare female circumcision too cutting off a guys dick. The only way you could make that comparison is by stitching a girls crack up altogeather.Than neither can have intercourse.
It's hard to know how to respond to this. You are so ill onformed about the nature of this procedure and clearly have no desire to know or understand. Remove all pleasure centres from a man, then you have something comparable.
dantemdmc123, they DO in the most advanced form of female circumcision, sew the crack right up so that there is a hole only large enough to pee and menstruate out of. (this also apparently means she stays a virgin for her husband) Clitoris, labia minora and majora are all removed. No human, male or female should be subjected to this. female circumcision (the advanced kind) is EXACTLY the same as it would be to cut off a guys dick. and balls.
alittlebitofperil. Well I agree with you on one thing, no one should be subjected to this kind of treatment. But even if that procedure is carried out on a woman, not all is lost, because she is still able to reproduce. But if you think that cutting off a guys dick and balls compares to a female circumcision, than you carn't think.
dantemdmc123 - I can think perfectly well thanks. A penis is the SAME as a clitoris - the only difference being that the clitoris is for sexual pleasure ONLY. (and size obviously) A lot of women cannot reproduce BECAUSE of their circumcisions - not to mention will never feel sexual pleasure. I do'nt see how you can see any bright side to that. It is a crime against human kind.
I find myself having to explain this concept a little more frequently than I would like because I sometimes work at a job which requires some knowledge of Islam and Arabic culture. There is a common misconception that Islam requires it, but never has anyone shown me any ahadith which mention it, and it is definitely not in the Q'uran. It seems to have originated with pagan religions and crept into some Muslim communities. But some of the strongest activists against it are Muslim women.
If we are indeed created by GOD, who is recognized, by all religions to be perfect.... Than what gives ANY human being the right to correct GODS creation, by altering males or females bodies.
Not at all.. You seem to take any comments where you wan it to be:Your purpose is to attack their religion and traditions.mind you there are christian tribes in Africa and Australia that practice this too .I have a feeling you are a racist, if not then stop attacking and offer solutions
I am not attacking anyone. That appears to be your preserve. I am certainly not in a position to have the answer to everything, but am trying to raise awareness, that in itself is hopefully going to make some small difference. Humanity behaves badly, whether it ascribes it to religion or anything else. You have taken one comment out of context and made huge and incorrect assumptions.
no one should play 'god' & mutilate either gender's "hood". let the child decide when they can make a decision or become adult. if the mother messes with her son's, then the father of this mother should also remove her "hood".
Thanks for your comment. However, it might be helpful for you to read up on female circumsision. It is removal of the entire clitoris, so is quite different from male circumsicion (which doesn't make that right either, but it is good to know the facts).
I don't think female circumcision is necessarily as bad a thing as you suggest. Women don't have to be able to climax to enjoy sex, indeed it could be said that they enjoy it more emotionally and in terms of tenderness when that aspect is taken away.
As for the sewing up, it's a great way to reduce or remove the possibility of premarital and extramarital sex, problems that have plagued Western societies for many years.
Female circmcision not a bad thing? You're one sick person. I've seen your similiar comments posted on other videos. Do the world a favor get some pychological help!!
You obviously can't satisfy women so you think the problem is women having an intact clitoris.
I know so many of my American contemporaries who think cutting a girl's clitoral hood off is horrible, but then they go cut off their boy's glans hood without a second thought.
Hopefully one day, we will live in a world that protects children of all genders(male, female, and intersex) from having parts of their genitalia amputated without their consent.
Indeed, its strange how the two don't connect in people's minds. Mutilation is not helpful, period. Though in a female circumcision the entire clitoris is removed, so the procedures are not quite the same.
You make an interesting point as regards to intersex children, which is at least as brutal, if not more so. Why does one have to fit into one of two categories in order to be acceptable? To have a gender assigned, and not even be consulted? Humanity can be very odd.

Totally debatable. Working as a Hypnotherapist and repeattedly finding preverbal damaging trauma that has sunk way beyond conscious awareness, rather working on the individual and causing problems without apparent cause I know only too well these things don't just go away. And anyway, why would anyone want to cause a young child such pain in their most intimate centre, often in public? It's perverted.

I agree, it isn't a 'procedure', it is indeed mutilation. It really has little to do with the type of orgasm you have (and I think a lot of that is confused by most anyway). When you've been hacked to pieces and then sewn so tight you can't even get a little finger in it is pain you will seek to avoid, rathar than pleasure to be had. I wonder how female empowerment in general might work from us over here, Awareness is a start perhaps.
Supexcellency has recently made a video on a similar topic of correlating sin/shame with female masturbation to control sexuality. Normally I disagree with his religious views but on that topic I couldn't agree more.

as you say its a very evocative subject:
1. when the media starts repeating evocative news items take a closer look because "news" is 50% government informes. (Think iraq and AMD)
2. approx. 1.000.000 children die of starvation every month.
3. desperate situations produce desperate consequences.
